to all those with the V6 gasoline SF... I am using Petron's new E10 gasoline and here is my FC:

    first fill
    second fill - 6km/l
    third fill - 6.5km/l

this is all city driving. FC is comparable to using Caltex Techron Silver but advantage of Petron's E10 is its Php 2.00 cheaper and has better power.

1000 worth of Shell Diesel at 20.51 liters and it run 229kms = 11.165kms/l
mixed driving, 40-45% NLEX, rest EDSA,Alabang Driving. i think not bad for a 2yr old, 35kms-mileaged SF.

    2009 santa fe 4wd 2.2 crdi

426 km quezon city-manaoag-quezon city passing through nlex and sctex with average speed at 135 kph, then a little traffic on the road between sctex to tarlac city, then average speed of 80 kph on macarthur all the way to urdaneta (daming tricycle saka mabagal na jeeps/trucks), then average speed of 120 kph between urdaneta and manoag, fuel consumption was 33.4 liters. 12.75km/liter, not bad! city driving di ko pa na-compute, di pa nag-fill up ulit si misis e.

    2007 starex grx crdi

quezon city-baguio-quezon city/qc-subic-qc (on sctex) average was 10.5km/l, best mileage was 11.5 km/l. worst mileage on city driving is a dismal 6.5 km/l short trips around qc only, mostly home-school-home and trips to the mall.

Drove with O/D off while in the city streets, but in Coastal Tollway, O/D on up to max of 85-90 km/h.

Just one question - how many liters do you think are there remaining in the tank when the fuel light goes on? I haven't pushed my fuel beyond the Empty line for fear of running out of fuel.

Prior to my first 1000km PMS, the most I could get out of my car was from 8.3-9.5 km / L. Does the oil change play a major role in the consumption too?

To Matrix CRDI owners, ano po actual fuel consumption nyo for city and highway? I'm leaning more on this vehicle over second hand honda city. I believe it has the right power and space for my daily use.po. I made some computation that I will still have fuel savings if I opt for matrix.

Santa Fe 4X2 CRDi I get around 8.5km/L pag sinwerte 9.2km/L pinaka mababa ko na 7.20km/L. All of that is pure rush hour city driving. I reckon kaya ng Santa Fe mag double digits on mixed driving.
