OK, kung alam mo na pala, no need for any more clarification. Sabi kasi dun, OK daw for 500ppm sulfur content. But for me, I just use HGMO oil kasi yun recommended.

Eto yung #7: API CJ-4 oils are designed to have performance benefits over API CI-4 and API CI-4 PLUS oils when using both 15 ppm and 500 ppm sulfur fuel, and qualification testing is conducted using both fuels. As a reminder, 2007 on-highway engines with advanced emissions systems must use ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel containing 15-ppm sulfur or less. In cases where older engines/vehicles are operated with 500 ppm sulfur fuel, API CJ-4 is designed to protect the engine better than API CI-4 and API CI-4 PLUS. As always, users should seek guidance from their engine or vehicle manufacturer regarding specific service recommendations.

It's good then that hyundai's new hgmo-branded oil finally has a CI-4 rating. However, still hella overpriced based on previous PMS posts unless may bago nang pricing ang HGMO oils because of the new manufacturer?

How does it compare prices wise? It cost P678/lit, with discount its P610. They also give free 2 liter voucher for the next oil change plus the 10% discount so for a 6 lit oil change with free 2 lits & 10% discount, it comes out to P406.80 per liter. Tama ba? Top 1 evolution FS is P750/lit. FS oils range from P500 to P750. If you bring your own oil, service might not be discounted.

Kelan ka sir nabigyan ng 2 lit voucher? Nung nakuha namin ang unit, 1 lit voucher lang naibigay sakin. After nung sa 1k pms ko, wala na binibigay na voucher para magamit sa 5k pms. Sa 5k top up mo ba saka ka binigyan ng 2 lit voucher para magamit sa 10k oc? TIA

Sana nga lang sir eh totoo yung nakalagay na rating sa kanilang HGMO at hindi para masabi lang natin na API CI-4 rating na siya saka sana lang eh talagang competitive yung kanilang FS oil para sa ganyang price. Hindi kasi maSearch kung anu mismo yung oil nila para maTsek yung specifications ng oil.

Hindi naman po sa sinisiraan ang casa, pero maaaring ginagawa lang nila na marketing strategy yung sa oil nila para maipakitang competitive sa ibang aftermarket FS oil, maaari din naman talagang maganda yung oil na gamit nila. Walang nakakaalam kung ano nga ba talaga.

Pero I will stick muna siguro sa casa oil, wala pa naman ako nagiging problema sa casa na pinupuntahan ko eh at ang maganda sa Lipa na casa eh pwedeng tabihan mo yung tsikot mo habang ginagawa ang PMS.

Ang Amalie Oil ay supplier ng oil sa NASCAR & that is good enough for me. Wag ka masyadong maniwala sa conspiracy theory ng iba. Yun ang rating nun. Kaya nga nag shift sila from Shell to Amalie.
