ang tanong how long will it take before HARI will replace the dealer stock item use to replace such part as warranty. Though all dealers will honor any warranty claim palagay ko mas madali ka maka claim Kung saan ka nagpapa PMS kasi kilala ka na ng mga SA kesa walk in ka lang then am warranty claim ka pa.

if you are religiously following the strict PMS schedule of Hyundai for your unit plus getting all the parts from them, then you can go to any hyundai casa for warranty claim because they will have a very hard time looking for an excuse to void your warranty claim. the parts availability depends on HARI and not the CASA so all CASAs will course any warranty claim thru HARI. I firmly believe that whatever available parts are stocked in the casa are for use of paying customers only and not for warranty claim. that's why all warranty claim parts become available from 30-90 days.

But from majority of feedbacks from hyundai santa fe owners, they have the best experience with Hyundai Dasmarinas, Las Pinas, Alabang and Iloilo. Casas to avoid are Shaw Blvd, Commonwealth and E.Rod. So far, personally, I've had one PMS done at QA and I would rate them as Slightly below Satisfactory. Sa warranty claim, they SUCK and FAILED my expectations.

In the US, every 7500 miles ang maintenance schedule ng Elantra ...
Yung iba naman e at least 5000 miles.

Dito lang sa atin ginagawang every 5000KM or 3 months or whichever comes earlier.
Obviously to improve their revenue stream
Tsk tsk tsk ... Pero sa ibang dealer ako nakakuha ng tucson at elantra, where I was able to get better deals.

In few weeks my Tucson is due for PMS. Dadalahin ko parin sa Las Pinas. VIP na kami doon e.

Hindi lang siguro dahil sa gustong magkapera ng HARI but could also be na ayaw nilang lumabas lahat ang sira in 5 years that could damage the long time reliability of their product.

Kaya ako I always follow the 3months PMS of HARI just to be sure, kahit masakit sa bulsa.

Maybe you should factor in the climate and the type of fuel used in the Philippines.
And the market the new engines were primarily designed for.
PMS interval is longer in European and North American countries because the motoring environment (and cleanness of fuel) are not as harsh as our metro cities.

^^^ Metro Manila driving conditions can be classified as extreme driving condition for most vehicle brands. Lots of unpaved roads, dusty, heavy traffic, fllood, etc.

Totally agree. We have a starex 2009 model and less than 1 year later the vehicle caught fire while at star tollway. The warranty claim was denied due to late Pms. What is the relatiionship between a delayed Pms and vehicle catching fire? Sued them and they eventually settled.
