nawala na mga 2011 i10 owners? curious pa naman akong malaman performance nito (the 1.2 variant which they phased out). I was supposed to buy this model but the accent was more appropriate for my family. Any 2011 i10 owner there?

Hi Folks, I am planning to buy my first bnew car and I am torn between buying the new i10 (the 1.1 MT variant) OR the Accent 1.4 MT. Honestly I am more leaning towards the i10 due to the numerous problems I hear about accent, however.. I don’t find a lot of user reviews for this i10 variant. I was really hoping for user opinions regarding its current flaws and of course strengths.  My dear i10neans, please enlighten me. Thank you!

why not Spark 1.2 MT? same price but looks and specs wise much better than the 1.1 i10. kung i10 1.2 pa yan pwede pa kaso 1.1 parang wala thrill sa pag drive.

kung ako tatanungin, mas pipiliin ko ang accent MT over the i10 1.1 because of the following reasons:

    - Cabin Space
    - Luggage/Trunk Space
    - Head Room/Cabin Space
    - Power over Fuel Economy (I think it is safe to assume na nasa 10-11km per liter yong FC)
    - Looks & endless after market upgrades

Though maraming reported na problema with the accent, but these are all manageable. While engine knocking could be an alarming fact, but just wait for next batches or wait for an accurate ECU update. It's only a matter of time until HARI could find the right ECU Map. Swerte nga lang na yong accent ko doesn't have any engine pinging/knock at all...

I might be one-sided because I own an all new accent, pero with my previous experience with my i10 as I owned a 1.2 pre-facelift version before, I would choose accent over i10 at any given day. But no wonder yong i10 is one of the cutest and a bad dude (power wise) in the segment where it belongs. Ang naging problema ko lang with my i10 dati is the rattling sound from the steering column, rear view mirror and door panels.
