^hehe. Nde naman ito deal-breaker sa akin. Nde rin ako familiar sa PMS in general because as I've said, first time ako mag brand new. Anyway, so upon checkup, kung ok pa un oil, nde naman nila papalitan basta-basta?

Wala naman talaga "correct" routine in checking the oil. You can top-up at the PMS intervals using fully-synthetic or semi-synthetic oil. Take note that fully synths last longer but costs more.
In my car, I used semi-synthetic on the 1,000km, 5,000km PMS and then went fully synthetic on the 10,000km. This way, I would only top-it-up with few more liters of fully synthetic on the 15,000km and fully-drain and refill it on the 20,000km. Regardless to say, full synthetic could last you 10,000km trouble-free (it lasts longer actually). If you're using semi-synthetic, a 5,000km interval is good.
^i asked about that, and the SA said that dapat talaga 3 months or 1000 whichever comes first. Hangga 4 months lang daw ang grace period. Well, at least that's the policy sa Hyundai Pasig. Should I just go to a different dealer pag PMS?
BS. What if you went overseas and simply "garaged" the car for a year? That doesn't mean your service warranty is void. Oil doesn't expire in 3 months so the argument is simply pointless. I would understand if it's 6 months and then you haven't had your first 1,000km PMS. Modern oils (semi & full synthetic) are designed to last between 6 & 9 months on average afterwards they have the tendency to decompose their molecular structure and would sludge your engine shafts and cams. This is the reason why most dealerships will call you to "follow-up" on the PMS service on a month-based interval.
Of course, this is my understanding of the time-based view on servicing. For what it's worth, I just serviced my Sonata last month for her 10,000km PMS (which was sponsored by HARI due to a past favorsaved 10,000php! halatang sinuki ni dealer..) and she's already a year old. 6-months service of 10,000km whichever comes first? Phooey, okay pa oil ko and my service warranty is still intact.
For first-time buyers, servicing and warranty are also separate things. You service the car based on the distance interval. Neglecting to do so voids your warranty. Standard warranty is 5 years or 100,000km what ever comes first where the CASA would repair faulty stuff on the basis your warranty is intact. If you drive a lot and reach 100,000km in 3 years (that's fast!), then your warranty is void because it came first.
And yes, you may always switch your servicing CASA around. I used to do my oil change at Hyundai Quezon Avenue (where I bought the car) but I've now switched to Hyundai North EDSA due to the convenience -- lounge, refreshments, WiFi, and free shuttle service papunta Trinoma or SM North EDSA. Having a shuttle service is godsend if you don't want to laze your ass around in the dealership for 4-5 hours!
I hope this helps!
