The wiring harness and the H2 sockets, yes they are existing sir... In fact yon na yong ginamit namin para hindi na bubutas pa sa firewall. Ang ginawa ko, I bought my own relay, and tapped the stock harness to my relay.
Ang pagkakaiba kasi sa setup ng RB than most Asia Pacific released units, yong positive actuator signal ng relay, nakatapped sa HeadLamp Low Beam Positive, passes through multifunction switch for switching, then terminated to pin #86 of the relay, Pin #85 (Negative actuator signal ng Relay) is tapped to body ground.
Ang mangyayari nito sir, is when you set your headlights to high beam, yong fog-lamp would be off, pagbalik mo ng low, tsaka iilaw naman uli. Although it makes sense naman kasi when your on high beam, I think the illumination is more than enough that you no longer need that extra illumination coming from your fog lights.
However most Asia Pacific setup kasi, nakatapped sa parking lights yong fog-lights. However, foglights will light up only if and only if the IGN is in ON position & the park light is switched to ON. This is to protect your battery from draining out if you leave your park-lights on while the engine isn't running. Kaya if you leave them both park lights + fog lights open, then you turned off the engine, the fog lights will be off, however the parking lights remain open...
Like I said on previous post, you have 54 watts of total load for the fog lights, now if your fog light's power source is tapped directly to the battery, and you leave it open for a significant amount of time (park light + fog lights), tiyak drained yong battery mo.
