Why not try sir SG's source on retrofit Projector HID Lamps. Ok din yon. Problema lang kasi sa HID is if foggy or rainy, talagang walang magagawa ang HID mo. Tapos, problema pa sa HID, if you go to high kalvin ones, makakaperwesyo ka sa ibang motorista.

Pag nangitim o nasunog na yan, di yan i-honor ng warranty kasi at the first place you tampered the wirings and installed higher wattage bulbs.

Imho walang kwenta talaga ang high wattage halogen bulbs like what sir sg said, sumubok narin ako nyan dati, ang bilis mapundi at mangingitim talaga headlight housing mo. Tapos papalitan mo pa ceramic socket para hindi matunaw, and dagdag pa relays. On second thought...baka nga makabuti yung pangingitim kasi mukhang smoked headlight na heheheheh

If you want higher wattage na safe go for japan made 60/55 consumption = output 100/90 makikita mo to sa box pa lang medyo pricey nga lang to it cost around 3k-5k branded kasi to like RAYBRIG,IPF halogen bulb. salpak mo lang ayos na.

Raybrig, IPF, at Polarg. Lahat yan made in Japan.

Hehehe.

Hello accent owners. I'm seriously considering na to buy a decent pair of mags for my red 1.4MT. Nag-iisip na ako to get 17"/45s ones. Does anyone have pictures ng mga Accent nila na nagpalit na ng mags/wheels? Thanks.

Backread ka, may nagpost na before of a white accent with 17''s.
Do check for the size 17''/45s as I think somebody posted here na it would hit the fender.HTH

If daily driven yong car sir, I would suggest you go with the 16s w/ 195/50/R16 (The same specs with the 1.6 TOTL variant).

If weekend car lang, or pang coding lang, syempre you go with 17s (Looks over practicality). 205/40/R17 ang pinaka swak sa atin, offset either +42 or +40. With 17s, malaki maintenance cost mo. Syempre mahal yong 17s na gulong. May mura, pero china made, and besides may mga reported na medyo questionable yong road grip niya esp. on rainy days.

here is my unit sporting a Lenso SC-05 16s.

Hindi na sir. If 17s yan I might, kasi you have to fill that fender gap. Kong titingnan mo yong 40 series cars na hind naka lowered, para yatang nag toe-toe walking, but with the 16s, hindi masyadong noticeable yong fender gap kasi medyo makapal or mataas yong tire sidewall. With your case sir, if it's a family car, I would suggest na don't do anything with the stock suspension. Slapping lowering springs has trade offs in terms of riding comfort, but it would really help you on attacking corners or on high speed cruising speed. And besides, if you have intentions to lower it, mas mabuti na yong both front and rear and ideally dapat balance yong center of mass ng car mo. If the rear is too heavy, tendency is mag-ooversteer ka....

Gross weight wise, I think its around 2-3 Pounds heavier per wheel than the stock one. But as far as FC is concern, very negligible yong difference. And besides, mas nag-improved yong handling ng car, kasi medyo you felt the road more, than the 70 series, na para yatang sobrang detached yong sasakyan sa road, and it doesn't give significant feedback on how the car is handling.

Eto nga naisip ko din meikey, since mine is just a weekend car, balak ko mag 17 na, kaso ang ayaw ko lang is mag pa lowered.
Tried already some 17s and where about to purchase BTW, kaso pansin yung malaking gap sa fender.

Kaya upto now nag iisip pa ko kung 17 or 16...any advices?

Bilhin niyo yung springs na hindi dumadapa talaga like Tanabe GF, Tein S-tech, Eibach and the like. Like Tanabe DF, Merwede etc. -- 1.75"-2" drop ftw! HAHA.

Hehehehe, If I were in your shoes, 17s na. Tapos like sir renzo said, maybe around 1.75-2" drop lang. May nakita ako sa net, and I almost bought it, but I have second thoughts kasi I do have major project this month end. Waiting for the items to arrive na lang.

With my Vti before, naka tanabe rin yon, and a 16s JSPL copy. Ang maganda sa tanabe, is yong handling is comparable lang sa stock, but not totally same as stock suspension handling. On hyundais, mahirap maghanap ng tanabe kasi yong tanabe mostly JDM yong market, and a little pricey than the rest.

Hehehe, about sa misis natin, magkaiba tayo sir. Hehehe, si Mrs., as long as I am committed, and if its within the alloted budget, she will always give me the go signal. Yong honda city niya, she insisted on putting another 17s, eh kaso, she already damaged a set of lenso wheels, and ang sakit sa bulsa, tapos yong dunlop 703 niya pa, eh halos lahat ng tires may bukol na, worst is ang isa, meron ng punit, around 2-3 inches long parallel sa tire belt. Kaya tinanggal ko na mag wheels niya, and good that my sister let us used her honda jazz 16" mags. But anyway, were are still on the late 20's, kaya 'di pa tipid mode ang pag-iisip naming dalawa...
