*sir bratski oo nga e ganun din pnplano ko sa labas nalang ako pa PMS kaya lang wala naman ako alam sa koche pag nagka problema. malamang talaga pikit mata kagatin na yan overprice na PMS ng hyundai.
Sa accent modification thread si sir meikey ang idol.. dito sa issue problems in general si sir bratski ang idol hehehe

Parang naging infamous ako nyan ah hehehe. Issue idol...hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako maiiyak.

I wasnt able to talk to any of the accent owners. According to the service supervisor it solves the engine knock issue. According to him the problem is our fuel, the ecu is programmed to perform well based on the standard fuel which most countries have but unfortunately our country doesnt have. This is only the same problem with most japan surplus engine. Since maganda yun fuel sa japan compared to ours, nagtotope yun most surplus engine kaya most of the time blaze nalang ginagawa na nagegine swap unless they know how to reprogram a ECU.

While its true that gassing up on high octane fuel will solve the knocking problem of most OTHER engines, sa accent ko kahit naka Petron blaze na with 100 octane knocking galore parin

I started to hear that cracking sound 3 days ago, 7k na odo ko. But Im experiencing it only pag change gears lang 2 and 3 and sometimes uphill on the first steps on the gas. Knocking na ba to? Coupled with a "tik tik" CV joint sound, very annoying. Nilalakasan ko na lang sounds para wag ako mabad trip. I intend to have the ECU updated sa Euro2 sa 10K pms, sana wag mag low power.

Yang cracking sound na yan, that is the wonderful sound of engine knock or tope. Tapos may tick tick sound ka pa sa cv joint? ang kulang mo nalang wokwok sound from the Aircon compressor (like mine) and may banda ka na hehehe.joke.
Ayus din ang Hyundai accent, may kotse ka na, may banda ka pa.

Yes, observe the next few days. I don't wanna be a spoiler but based on personal experience the knocking or low power will return after a week or so.

hehehe, yong accent ko naman doesn't have issues so far with this crackling sounds whatsoever sa engine.. But I do have fair share of problems as well...

My unit is in casa right now for 2 days as I am suspecting that the rear right hub bearing is tossed up... Para ng eroplano sa lakas ng ugong... ehehehehehehehe...

I've got weird problems lately. Fuel Pump was replaced due to hard starting issues.. Ngayon rear hub naman.

A happy owner though... hehehehe, malapit na ako mag 15K, and still have fears tamaan ako nitong sakit na ito. But so far w/ 5W-30 Fully Synthetic oil, medyo mas refine yong idle niya, don't know if it's a psychological thing, but I feel I'm getting an extra kilometer on my Fuel Consumption...

hahaha. at may kasama pang hissing noise yan kagaya ng post ni makro... yung wokwok, wag naman sana. this started after the refill of shell premium to a different gas station, nearing empty na kasi. been using shell premium to a same station since nabili ko. mawala kaya knock pag pinadrain ko gas and fill again to my trusted station?

Yang hissing sound na yan mas evident sa leg area ng rear seats Sir. Meron din ako nyan, don't know if it's an issue or what. Yoko nalang ma stress. Hahahaha. Gaya nga ng sabi nga ni Sir bratski na banda, baka ka-banda ng Accent yan?! Hahahaahha.

The hissing sound is coming from your exhaust. Exhaust fumes passes through the Cat converter, filtered and resonator takes car of the noise - which makes it hissing once the car is started.

Also, to point, you may also notice water coming out of the end pipe (tambutso). This is due to mix in hydrocarbons and other chemical reactions in your engine. It only indicates that your engine is in good condition.

paktay!!! 4k pa lang may prob na pala accent ni esmi ko? ano ang benchmark ng low power, if hindi pa natanung ito? when shifting, while in between gears (first depression of the clutch, 2nd wala na) may metallic sound ako naririnig minsan.

by the way, the crrrrkkk sound was gone for the day,after the refill of a shell premium to my suki gas station.
for observation pa though, but never na akong pa gas sa iba.

Buti ka nga 4k na lumabas yung problem. Yung unit ko 300 kms palang simula na kalbaryo ko. Yung metallic sound na naririnig mo engine knock yun, yung low power kasi hindi siya sumasabay sa engine knock, either knocking lang o low power

meron pa boss bratski. wala sentro yung steering nito. tight naman ang steering feel, pero ang hirap i-keep sa gitna ng kalsada lalo na pag 80 kmh upwards. kailangan pa ng minute yet constant steering corrections. para kang tumutulay sa lubid. i can't wait for the next pms para mapa-tignan toe in nito

Mother fracker... hahaha brought my unit sa Hyundai Dasma for my 10K and the rattling seatbelt pillars plus not-working keylock. PMS is quick as usual with them pero grabe lang talaga taga ng dealer (I'd assume HARI-mandated to) in terms of price. Almost 2K for a set of spark plugs and PhP 5K for a PMS... man ginto, binawi talaga yung low purchase price ng unit to service. Strategists!

Anyways, the rattling noise on both sides of my seatbelt pillars are still there on uneven roads (note: minsan kahit cement roads lang na di masyadong pino ang surface nagra-rattle na). The alarm's actuator for the locking was not also replaced gawa ng limited lang daw yung time at day na pumupunta yung Winterpine sa dealer nila.

Frustrating but I'd have to deal with it na lang for another 5K.... or find a more reputable shop to have it done without having to scratch my interiors!!! Grrrrrr......

Alignment lang yan bro, patingnan mo na agad sa mga servitek or alignment shops, sa casa kasi sisingilin ka para sa alignment and sigurado matataga ka. Hindi kasi warranty part ang alignment.

no $h!t??? anu ba yan! maglalabas sila ng unit na sablay ang worksmanship tapos hindi warranty part? i take it marami na nag-try pero wala nakalusot? well, try ko na lang din. if ever mapalusot sa warranty i'll post here at what dealer accomodated me, para makatulong na din sa iba owners. kung sakali...
