with the Turbo ofcourse anything is possible as long as you have money to burn ( or boost). i heard the block of the 2.0 engine shares with Evo X' 4G11, which if true is a big wow!

the stock Turbo is good for City driving, instant power at low rpm.but look what i have found, with gt30r turbo, he made 357hp. Torque not that impressive though, but it's already neck breaking baby. i'll be more impressed if Torque would hit 400ft.lbs....baon na baon!

btw im making some inquiries, as usual most SA are clueless with what they are selling, puro "siguro" or "baka". I want to know if they really have the bare model of the 2.0 turbo. any branch you could refer?

ano kinokonsumo ng mga makina niya? diesel ba or gas? mukang may nabasa na ko na diesel YATA yang 2.0 pero di ko na mahanap. if it is then it's great! sulit na rin

However, my budget can only afford the 1.4M base *bare" model. Does anybody have any info on what the base model includes/doesn't include?

Likely it won't have the "Track Pack", which features the uprated suspension, brakes and other goodies. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

I think it misses most of the "luxury" features like leather seats, moon roof, push button start/stop, power seats, 19" wheels, backup sensor, fog lamps, HID, etc.

Actually sulit parin ang 2.0 Turbo Entry Level variant ng Genesis Coupe,mas ok pa sya dun sa lumang 2.7 V6 A/T na Coupe!! Order ka na tutal yung Brembo Brakes at rims na pang 3.8 V6 ay nabibili naman yan eh..

Aaminin ko balak kong umorder din ng 2.0 Turbo Entry Level kasi ganda nya at practical sya!! Isasama ko sa pagbili namin ng Grand Starex CDRI 10 seater,Santa Fe 2WD CRDI at Accent GL to sometime this year!!

I love this car! I will rant & rave about this all day long, especially because of it's reasonable price range.

And yes, even the "bareboned" package is worth it's P1.4M price tag - the only noticeable exclusion from the higher end models is the side-mirror indicators & "only" 18" rims. It still has leathers inside!

But for me, the back looks a tad better than the front

I don't think so,yung Veracruz,Genesis Sedan,i30,Elantra at Santa Fe(at least bumenta parin ng matindi!!) oo pero ang Genesis Coupe eh NEVER na naging overpriced no!! Ang ganda nga nito eh!!

Anyway its not overprices. Mga kalaban nito nasa P2M price range na. EH yung MX-5 from Mazda mas maliit mas mahina pero mas mahal. Cute nga lang atsaka yung roof auto retractable...
