Toyota is really fuel efficient, the same for Honda.

I suggest, before deciding to buy a car, to visit internet sites that reviews and compare cars. Hyundai is not fuel efficient and its dashboard is made of cheap material that for a few years becomes brittle and cracks. Its tires also is not durable and the spare tire, beware, for Getz, the size is smaller in diameter.

dude i understand your sentiments, like you i bought a mazda 3 hoping that this car would be fuel efficient as advertised by DOE and Mazda itself, but it turn out to be a gas eater, and to tell you, i bought my 3 when gas prices were as high as 56 per liter..

so just imagine from cogeo to makati and vice versa (65 kilometers balikan)..i consume almost 9liters a day.

there's no such thing as perfect car...my spare tire is also a donut tire..and looks ugly on my trunk...

you an either trade your car for a better one or sell it...ganun talaga yun....

Mine is ok. FC has improved from 7km/l to 10km/l city driving and 12km/l on highways. Pretty stable upto 120kph with or without load. Engine power is great considering its only a 1.2. Was able to go up and down hills of Antipolo while on D. Space at the back seat is great. 2 adults and 2 kids still comfortable (average size).
    HTH!

    Hi guys,

I installed a 195x50xR15 "offset 40" wheel and tire set on my Hyundai i10. Mejo masikip ung space between the wheel and side wall, just enough to slide my palm inside. Safe ba ung offset 40, or do I have to buy spacers for it? So far 3 mos. ko nang gamit ung car, and pinatanggal ko ung gulong sa likod last week to check kung may rubbing issues so far clear naman. Sabi naman nung DKC tires, safe naman daw un. I'm worried kasi baka pag nag tight turn ako sumayad ung gulog ko sa likod with the side wall. What to you think? Safe ba ung offset? Thank you.

Magkano kaya abutin pag magpapalit? Kumho yung gamit ko, yung normal size for i10. TIA.

If your still using your stock 165 14inch rims its better to invest on better tires you can try Eagle F1 195/14 wider tires, And yes its better to buy outside sa casa kasi sobrang laki ng patong ng casa sa mga parts nila.

I've been rolling on 15inch sa i10 ko for a long span of time ganun rin akin mejo dikit nga that's why I use spacers sa likod lang kaya ngayon ok na yung clearance I even tried using 55 seris sa likod ok rin pero went back to 50 para mas safe.

Hi Sir, what do you mean by "went back to 50 para mas safe"? I am thinking of having my shoes replaced as well. Just making sure i get most of the angles covered.

    1. Handling - ie Tagtag, cornering, etc. mas ok po ba?
    2. Fuel Consumption - malaki po ba difference kasi lumapad yung gulong, more road drag ika-nga.
    3. Turn radius - malaki po ba niliit?
    4. Speedometer - obvious po ba yung epekto?
    5.

    TIA!

    Cheers,
    Ryan

torque yan. 3rd Gear doesn't have enough Torque to accelerate the car. 4th gear has lesser torque, hence u can't increase speed.

When going up to Tagaytay, try changing at 3k - 4k RPM then shift, although, you'll be back in 2nd gear after awhile.

last saturday nagpa 1kpms sa hyundai q.ave..

Newbie here!

Ask po sana ako ng advices before I get a 2nd hand car. i10 2009 1.2L MT po yung tinitignan ko, with 40k+ mileage, for 325k. Is it a good deal? or pwede na po for beginners na gustong magkaroon ng own vehicle? What factors should I consider?

Please share some thoughts. Thank you sa mga magshashare! Godbless!

325k parang mahal pa siya sir. Try to haggle it down, since 4 year old na yung car. Yung accent crdi ko which cost 700k last 2009, ang value nalang ngayon pag trade-in ay 330k. Although you can sell it sa 400 to 450k pa. Since nasa 28,000km lang ang mileage.
Try mo nalang tawaran kasi nasa 590k yata ang brand new niyan ngayon at automatic transmission pa.
If ever na decided ka na sa car, try to bring it to a reputable casa and have them perform the 40,000km pms check up. Kasi doon tiitingnan nila lahat at papalitan lahat ng fluids like engine oil, radiator coolant, brake fluid and etc. Tapos patingnan mo narin yung brakes and wheel bearings condition.
