Naawa naman ako bigla sa i10 ko, I bought it this May 04, 2013, and my odometer is already at 18100+km, almost half as yours for my 6month old car! Yours is almost 4 years old and your odometer is just at 40000+km. Daily ride ko kasi ito from Pulilan to Makati/BGC. Average km per day ko is 140km, tapos 1.5 to 2hrs drive...

Where do you get your i10 serviced? Are you servicing your vehicle at Hyundai since day 1? Ako kasi Hyundai pa din. Nagpa quote na ako for my 20000km PMS sa Hyundai Baliuag, ang quote sakin is a 12k+ which includes fully synthetic oil replacement, spark plug, air filter, engine oil filter replacement, aircon filter replacement (2.5K ito!), radiator coolant flush/replacement, fuel lines flushing, engine oil flushing, cleaning of breaks and other routine checks pa daw...

I have it maintained at Hyundai Commonwealth from day 1. It's walking distance from my home, so sometimes I just leave it and walk home and back...

My maintenance costs are a bit cheaper because I opt out of most of the optional services (flushes, full washes, etc.), though at 40K my (original) aircon filter, transmission fluid and coolant were all drained and replaced. I just have the aircon filter cleaned. I still have it with me, it seems pretty much intact, so I may be able to use it again if I had to.

I use semisynthetic oil, just to keep costs down. Every 10K mark, they replace the spark plugs and air filter. Every 5K they change the oil and oil filter.

Best so far was 16km/L. I get more mileage when using Shell Nitro+ fuels compared to Petron XCS. This week, sinusubukan ko naman Caltex Gold, seems at par with Shell.... Ok din Unioil 97%, kaya lang parang mas ma-vibrate ang engine kaya tinigil ko siya...
I just use 91 octane. I used higher octane fuel a number of times before, and yes, I suppose it gave the engine a little more pep, hence the higher mileage because you don't have to step on the accelerator that much to get the car moving, but I guess I'm just not picky.

I average (just) about 1000+ km a month...a full tank on city driving gets me around 300+ km, and lasts around 10 days.

Almost any fuel seems okay...except Seaoil. On numerous occasions I experience a lack of power when using their 91 octane. I never experience that with the big 3.

    Hi Sirs,

Do you know any shop where I can get parts for 2008 i10? My boot door stay needs to be replaced.
And also, my right side corner light is broken as well. I didn't know how it happened as I don't remember getting hit or hitting anything while driving.

    Thanks in advance!

Whenever I needed parts for my i10, I would place an order with the parts counter of my Hyundai dealer. Depending on availability, the part usually is either already in stock, or I need to wait for a few days till it arrives.

I did inquire with my dealer but they need to order the parts. They don't have it in their stock.

Anyway, thanks a lot for you reply sir! Well appreciated.
