The most realistic feedback I've gotten is 25 km/l in highway driving. I didn't even attain that with the Getz. If you don't drive in "super saver" mode, you'll most likely get under 20.

After the Getz and the Accent, the next most economical car locally would be the Focus. 20 km/l is possibly on long trips, and it regularly gets 13-16 in traffic. The Santa Fe is also pretty economical, but I don't have firsthand figures for it. The Tucson AT we tested wasn't quite as economical as the Focus.

Amongst gas engines, the Alto, Honda City/Jazz and Toyota Vios/Yaris stand out.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Wow that great FC! So if diesel cost say 50 pesos a liter, cost per km is only 2 pesos!

Definitely this car will be a consideration for many future car buyers considering the high cost of fuel today.

    Is this for city consumption?

I have seen a Rangen taxi snaking aggressively around in high speeds in traffic.

Also what other colors are available for the base model (PHP680K)? I see the color white ALOT, from private vehicles to Rangen taxis.

saw a demo unit of the accent crdi/vgt gl kanina at SM. i was quite impressed sa unit lalo na nung inistart yung engine. very quiet yung engine noise at walang vibration plus maganda yung insulation coz napakaingay kanina sa mall sa dami ng tao pero ng isinara ko yung pinto, super tahimik sa loob ng car.

spacious din sa loob considering na sub-compact sya, plus yung luggage compartment ay malaki kasya siguro apat na suitcases. unfortunately, no power amenities yung base model nila (GL*680k) plus wala pa A/T options sa GLS..

nakalagay sa streamer nila 25kms/liter (hiway driving *90kph speed).
