Mga sir, help naman. I just bought a second hand car recently, 2002 Honda City Type Z, matic but I don't know much about cars. Any idea, what's the recommended tire pressure for 15 rims tires? Di na kasi stock yung tire.

    Thank you in advance.

for me i don't go beyond 30psi even if its not a stock tire size anymore, pang racing na ang ganyang pressure for me na 30/32psi, gamit ko parin ang 28/28 para di masyadong matagtag yung car, by the way naka 15inches mags din ako, peace

sa kin gamit ko 32/30, medyo mabigat makina ng SiR ko kya siguro 32 sa harap. Though our other cars like lynx and corolla standard na ung 30/30 psi.

Tumatagtag pag malaki tires mo. Parang 195/55/R15 ata recommended sa 2004 Honda City. In my case 195/60/R15 nilagay ko. Iwas hump damage na rin.

Kaya lumalaki tires kahit say 32/30 psi mo e pag mainit daan nag inflate ito. Try shifting to Nitrogen instead of Air. Pag naka Nitro ka hindi nag inflate masyado at close to 32/30 ka pa rin. In some cases yung 30 psi umaakyat sa 38psi kaya nagiging matagtag pero pag nitro ka mga 34psi lang or less.

Pwede din under pressure instead of 32/30 gawin mo 30/28. Pero mas ok yung mag nitro ka na lang. Mga less than 500 pesos sa Petron na meron nitong service tapos libre pa recharge nitro.

Actually this tire pressure is for GD-chassis Cities (2003-2008).

For SX8-chassis Cities like the Type Z (1996-2002), the recommended pressure is 27 psi all around. You should see this on a sticker on the driver's doorjamb.

    I've had both cars. HTHs

Off-topic itong tanong mo pero sasagutin ko na.

Ganyan talaga ang GD-chassis Hondas (Jazz and City 2004-2008). Why? Unusually for a road car, the spring rates are higher at the rear than at the front. If memory serves, the spring rates are 2.5kg/mm front, 5.0 kg/mm rear.

Malambot pa nga ang pwet ng City. The Jazz is even stiffer-riding at the back.

If you don't like the ride at the back, one way of remedying it is by installing lowering springs. Tanabe NF210s (these are painted blue) are a popular set of springs for comfort. The GD Jazz and City share suspension components so finding a set shouldn't be too hard.
