Honda SIR - why ang daming haters?

Its just that yun ang gusto nila, at yan naman ang style niyo. So respect lang, hindi lang ako makapaniwala that at this time and year, mayroon pa pala deretsuhang paninira na maaring mangyari at the forums.

Hindi naman po tayo bata, lahat cguro tayo dito hardworking naman at pinaghirapan ang ating mga binili, kung Sentra man yan, or Civic, or Forester, or Crosswind.

Missed the car last 2009 so I bought another SiR for 350k, me already 30, and built it up spending more on parts than the price of the car. Impractical, Yes. BUT its my passion and my own money.

A lot of guys have that one car that got away it seems... babalikan mo pa rin. In my case it's the S14 Silvia which up to now, i'd still get one if given the opportunity.

I agree that it's crazy to buy a car where you're paying for the upgrades done. Any self-respecting enthusiast knows that the upgrades will never be worth their equal value added on to the car value. The fun is also in the process of building your project vehicle that's why most would always rather start with a clean sheet of paper. It's more feasible to part out a modded car before you sell it IMO.

At the expense of sounding a bit judgmental, I'd dare say part of the reason why the SiR still demands such high prices is due to the culture of people here when it comes to transactions involving used personal goods.

Absolutely almost all of the sellers overshoot their selling price, either due to ignorance, the desire to lose as little money as possible while screwing the buyer from his as much as possible, the expectation of a lot of "buyers" lowballing their bargaining prices to the point of being ridiculous; or a combination of all of the above.

Just go to any locally-based websites that allow sales of used cellphones, gadgets and computer stuff and you'll see what I'm on about.

Normally i see high prices on most buy and sell websites as they try to anticipate the tawad and heck, nothing to lose naman if may kumagat. If you're buying and selling at the club level, you still get good prices really when it comes to dealing with fellow members (not yung mga career na benta boys).
