Question lang po. Yung spare tire ko hindi pa nagagamit for more than 5years. Pwede ko bang gamitin ngayon ng pangmatagalan dahil pudpud na yung tire ko sa harap?

My old and preserved MT 99 CRV is now averaging 8km/liter pure city,

The catch however, js to restore your underchassis to its original state ( plaitan sabay-sabsy ang mga bushings, links etc,) and buy set of 4 oriignal issue size tires, as well as have then fans run to optimum efficiency, I had it all rewinded / recarbonized even if it's still working,

It took me a year to get it back to original status and I have seen my consumption improve from 5km to 8km per liter. Btw, use the fully idemitsu oil for efficient engine performance, and use only original PMS parts. Sa banawe, naman mura lang ito.

Keep it light. Remove any roof baskets, and other third party wirings or mod na na install noon pa and this car will perform well.

It's due for repaint soon pero nakukuha pa din naman ng detail. This is one of my cheapest to maintain cars at only 2350 per year.

question lang. anong coolant ang gamit ninyo na pang-crv para sa radiator? At distilled water ba ang gamit ninyo? DIY flushing sana ang gagawin ko.

    I use Honda OEM pre-mixed.

Flush it using ordinary water, then after your final flushing fill it with your choice coolant-dist. water mix (50/50 ratio).

Yeah , use the honda premixed na nabili sa casa for coolant. It a bit expensive but it's life span is better, I drained and replaced 3 years ago, up to now it still performs well

Can anyone help me, new honda user po ako, i got a gen 1 crv 2000 with a b20z engine, my radiator cap is rated 1.1 bar tama lang po ba ito? Medyo matigas yung hose bakaag crack yung radiator. However, .9 nman nauubos coolant causing air in the sytem and making my temp guage fluctuating. Tama lang ba operating temp ng b20z engine yung 200'f parang natataasan po kasi ako. Pero engine rpm goes to 900 pag nag 150'f

That should've been included during tire rotation.

I have an engine oil leak in my crv 2003. Where is good auto mechanic/repair shop near BF RESORT las pinas? Does Customer's Cradle also do engine repairs?

Anyway, the first generation CR-V, despite being 4WD, should be more frugal since it is smaller and lighter than the second generation CR-V. From the latter, I would probably have half a tank left, or a little more than that after the end of each week. Considering I mostly drive on the highway and in light to moderate traffic, that is already some subpar fuel economy. It is still a great and reliable vehicle though. I have had no major problems over the long years of ownership.
