As long as you stick with the same wattage (and same bulb-type [H4?], of course ), there should be no problem.

Don't touch the lighting end of the bulb, though. Stick to the metallic/bottom portion when handling bulbs.

    Good luck!

kaya ring i-DIY yan. Thing is, you have to get stock wattage bulbs, and AVOID touching the bulb.

There are very good lighting options from Philips, Osram and Narva.

pwedeng yung mga superwhite or yung mga all-weathers (personally I have all-weather lights. great when it's raining, and adequate pag may fog)

don't go for the 95/100w lights (pwedeng malusaw reflectors mo), and the worst: HID's without projectors (mumurahin ka ng lahat ng kaharap mo, wala pang silbe pag ulan)

Another option is you can have your headlights cleaned, kung madumi na yung salamin at reflector, malaking bagay talaga nagagawa ng headlight cleaning. Pwede mo na ring ipainstall sa gagawa nun yung new bulbs kung feel mo hindi mo kaya ilagay.

If your plan is to buy in Banawe, go to Perfect Cirle. They're selling Philips H4 bulbs. Get the Weathervision 60/55W. It's best for dry and wetroads. I think Blade sells Philips too approx P2000 for the pair.

FYI, HIDs work best on dry cement roads but not on asphalt. You just can't see anything. But if you like HID, get the 4300-4500Kelvin rating.

pag sinabi mong h4, isang klase lang yan. yan ang socket type niya. civic lxi ba kamo sasakyan mo? h4 yan, walang duda...

sa totoo lang, changing headlights/headlamps eh hindi nakakatakot yan at kahit bata, kayang gawin yan. sort of marketing lang ginagawa ng honda para sa kanila ka magpapalit ng ilaw. wala ka naman gagalawin sa electricals mo AS LONG NA STOCK WATTAGE ang kukunin mo. ibig sabihin niyan, buy a H4 bulb having a rating of 60/55 watts. oh, don't buy super whites o super blue bulbs, just buy the normal ones. all weather bulbs would to and bulbs having color temperature of 4300k.

my suggestion kung anong bulb? there's philips xtreme power, narva all weather, osram nightbreaker

    FYI:
One of the biggest giveaways that a car uses H4 headlight bulbs is that both the low beam and high beam are on the same bulb.

As people have said there are good lighting options, even if you stick to the stock 60/55W wattage. Here's a list of the pretty good ones.

    Yellowish to white:
    OSRAM Silverstar
    OSRAM All-Season
    Narva All-Season Yellow
    Wurth All-Season

    White:
    OSRAM Nightbreaker
    Philips Extreme Power

Only if you have the money to spend:
    Polarg Yellow

FYI again: The brighter a halogen bulb, the shorter its lifespan.

the headlights mentioned above cost around 1k per pair.

and yes, yung OEM headlights are slightly yellow, as yellow lights penetrate deeper into rain and fog.

the all-weathers are even "yellower", but not as yellow as dedicated fog lamps
