checked with HONDA pasig... and it seems they are not ready to sell rear parking detectors for this 2013 model yet.... where can one get this installed?

Not sure if it's been pointed out before, but the 2.0 EL only has an R20 engine, not the K20 previously found on the FD.

That's a SOHC-only engine that isn't as tuner-friendly as the K20. Got to ask an SA (who also happens to be a TeamFD member), and the reason for it was that the Econ-mode doesn't bode to well with the K20.

ano kaya capabilities ng R20? i'm thinking of upgrading to this pero kung limited lang din siya like the GE, i might as well pass or just limit myself to rims, lowering springs, and muffler for upgrades and not much performance

Hmmm... I'm guessing they sell it unpainted so that it can be matched to any color (owner can paint it to match the bodycolor or even leave it black).

I was thinking na si Honda na yung mag paint hehe pag kinabit nila

Honda makati 18k for the backing sensors, two sensors. Muntik ko na mamura yung kausap ko hehe

The R20 was fitted on the last gen 2.0 CRV if you want a feel of how it drives. (Not sure about the current 2.0L CRV). But since this is basically the R18, it should drive similarly with a bit more torque.

Hindi limited edition yung R20, as the K20 (as stated in earlier posts) was found to be unsuited for econo driving. Looks like the R20 is here to stay.

The R series differs from the K series as the R - Efficiency/K - Performance.

How i-vtec on the R series (R18 and R20 included) is that the vtec is actually OFF when you are driving spiritedly. When you are not accelerating quickly (cruising), the vtec comes on and lengthens the time that the intake valve is on and helps reduce pumping / efficiency losses to save fuel.
