Discounts given for JDM models currently. The Thai versions are packed with features, although some may not like the foot brakes, vs JDM hand brakes.

I was in this situation last.month and test drove the 2.4 JDM which I found typical Honda-very well built. I was let down by the power / acceleration which I felt did not distinguish it enough from even my old Gen. 2 CRV with manual tranny. I wanted an SUV that could pull away from those speedy CRDi Koreans andI felt the 2.4, good as it is build quality wise, could not pull away from the Koreans in a straight fight . I got a Forester XT instead.

At the time, the XT and the 2.4 JDM CRV were priced similarly but the XT had a big GPS/stereo, a bigger sunroof, side airbags, true AWD, and more importantly, it could leave the CRDi lot behind. The new Thai 2.4 appears to have improved things with more features (love the paddle shifters & the smart key), better looks, and better pricing. Would I choose the Thai 2.4 CRV over the XT now? Not likely.

Just drove away with a 2.4 SX ... beautifully light handling and much quieter than the 3rd Gen model. Definitely satisfied.

Got my 2.4sx 2 weeks ago. The acceleration is quicker than the Japanese test drive unit 2.4 EX. On Econ mode, the reading registered 5.6 km/l average purely city driving only. Note that my unit is still in break-in period. Anyway, its still more frugal than my second gen CRV 2.0 a/t (4.4 km/l). I hope this helps. I highly recommend this CRV.

I didn't notice this before, but the Bridgestone HP tires are hella better than the Dueler HTs. Katapat ng Goodyear HP/AW. Good grip, good bump absorption, stable sidewalls.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

City driving 4WD without Eco Mode, averaging around 5.5km / liter ... During the occasional trip from Ortigas to Alabang it goes up to around 10km / liter. Using Petron XCS.

Checked when I saw this post ... yup. Dueller HT also on mine. Ah well ... ride quality is still good so no real incentive to change.

Michelin Latitide Cross maganda. Kung gusto mo Kumho Ecsta tahimik kasi Kumho.

Yung Geolandar medyo maingay ata. Yung Dueler HP mahal naman. Pwede rin siguro Dunlop LM703 kung meron size. Haha
