There's not going to be a JDM Civic because the Japanese has stopped selling (but not the manufacturing aspect) the Civic in their home court all throughout.

Those pictures are most likely exports from Japan to elsewhere.

I believe the Civic will now look the same all over the world, with the exception of certain safety regulatory differences, ie. Amber turn signals in North America, etc..

Yes the 9th gen will surely suffer more than the ES bec. now there are actually more than an Altis that will be stealing market shares from it. Elantra, Kia equivalent, etc... are all going to make a mince meat of the complacent Japanese.

Looks like the interior is very driver-oriented. Halos lahat ng instrument displays at controls paharap sa driver. Iba siguro ang dating pag nakaupo ka na sa 9th Gen, Civic.

Anyway, baka tumaas resale value ng FD civics kung hindi talaga impressive looks ng new Civic in personal in and out.

ibig sabihin? hindi pa naka smoke head lamp ung sa 9th gen. ng Civic? then ung mags na nasa concept hindi pa final? looks like mas better pang kumuha ng FD version kesa dito sa 9th gen. kung titignan ung picture ng civic sa china...IMHO.

whats with honda nowadays? sablay yung crv and now their bread and butter, the civic... it looks boring and very similar to the current version. Buti na lang ok yung jazz... hope it looks better in person.

the rear looks modern but the front huh! the bumper remind me of the 90's model it isn't sporty at all...

Driver-oriented -> Check but there's so many wrongs here:

1. WTF is it with the round steering wheel controls?
2. I would like the tach to be part with the speedo. Weird on how they separated them both.
3. Driver would have a hard time seeing the hood due to elevated dash.
4. Aircon layout screams "I play it safe"

IMO they should at least sneak in an brushed aluminum panel like in the current-gen CR-V. All I see are plastics

The current generation CR-V improves many of what the 2nd gen CRV lacked. I daresay interior refinement jumped a notch. Suspension was likened to an Accord (+) and the only thing it needed was a better face.
