bro ganda naman ng stand ng hilux mo! di pa ako nka mags cant decide pa eh hehe,.. ung tires may nakita nko pero sa rims confused pa dami nglalabasan mganda,.. offroad stand mas gusto ko,.. and ofcourse budget!!!!

yung kay drave pala ang nakita ko, sorry, na-confuse ako. pati yung height yun ang dream ko kaso di applicable sa 4X2 yung grid-offroad talaga gusto ko kaso walang 5hole config. na available.

may offroad tires ako.. ung bridgestone dueler a/t (all terrain) mas maganda sa stock..
nagtanong na ko sa blumentritt ng american racing 32-40k mga chrome na 15" ung parang katulad nung kay drave dami dun..

Yung lift ko ay 7 inch Skyjacker leaf springs plus 2 inches Downey shackles, so a total of 9 inches.

Yung shoes ko naman ay Toyo Open Country M/T 35x13.5R15 on Mickey Thompson Classic II 15x12 rims.

Yung pics, later na lang muna. No time kasi, tapos this Saturday, relief operation and medical mission naman sa Binan, Laguna. Marami doon na knee to waist deep flood pa.

planning to get mud grappler nitto tires for the summer



any cons with mt tires?

i remember i had the grandtrek mt tires before i sold it because it was to slippery on damp roads...

hope to hear suggestions specially mt owners... or anyone who has inputs

i think un nga slippery.. meron pa ko dito 99% na dueler a/t tapos stock na mags.. nabili ko ung tires for 6k each

I've seen those mudtires personally and they're awesome looking. They also have good offroad reviews. They would certainly look good in your hilux.

I have mudtires myself and I can live with them as a daily drive.

Cons for street use are 1. they're noisy but not to the point of being intrusive, 2. speed rating is only up to 160 kph, 3. slippery on wet pavement, but only when you speed up to more than 80 kph or when the tire is too wide which makes any tire prone to hydroplaning, 4. wear down relatively much faster than H/T or A/Ts, and 5. there's some compromise in braking performance due to less rubber in contact with the pavement.

All these cons, however, can be negated by driving much more carefully and avoiding tailgating.

IMO, with your lifestyle, jetskis and all, the M/Ts would certainly fit.
