had been taking alternate routes like Naic-Indang-Mendez-Tagaytay from Paranaque then Tagaytay-Amadeo-Gen Trias-Imus-Molino-St. Dominic on the way back. so far the only traffic i experienced is the bottleneck from the Molino-Daang Hari intersection and the annoying traffic light at Naic. (masabi lang siguro ng Municipality of Naic na may traffic light sila) i don't really see a need for a traffic light at Naic. kaya naman ng tinginan lang sa mga intersections.

Wow, that route is kinda "long". But I would presume the absence of annoying PUV's is a good reason to take that route.

Wow!

there is this back-road feeling pag dumaadaan ako dun sa mga binanggit ko. mahaba pero tuluy-tuloy lang ang daan mga sir... marami nga lang ang mga trike pero syempre nakikiraan lang tayo. pati mga tao parang di sanay sa maraming sasakyan, sa daan naglalakad. i never go beyond 80kph. another thing na napansin ko is the absence of vulcanizing shops. kaya make sure na inflated ang mga gulong nyo than be stuck late at night in the middle of nowhere or better yet, take the conventional roads when dark.

di po ako lehitimong taga-cavite. i have very good friends from there. saka hilig ko talagang mag-explore ng bagong daan with friends when i was actively riding.

Rosa.

Anyone braved the reported complete standstill traffic at Tagaytay, Sta. Rosa area yesterday? Looks like need to add Christmas and New Year season as a stay-away time from Tagaytay. This is unless one has to pass through the area, or may be willing to loose much time driving, sitting in traffic than enjoying the vacation time.

Pag holiday iwasan talaga ang tagaytay. Not unless you go really early.

Umakyat ako diyan sa tagaytay around 1:30pm (nasa Eton na ko by this time..)

Leslie's, Josephine's, Max's.. lahat pang-12, 15th and 10th pa ko in line

Went down around 5pm. Di rin matraffic. Some parts were slow moving, dun around Rowena's but that's to be expected.

Siguro kasi 26th na. I experienced before umakyat ako tagaytay Jan 1 afternoon.

nice choice sir renzo that you used the eton exit. though its farther by around 3 km than sta. rosa exit, it is even more economical. iwas trapik sa tagaytay-sta.rosa road. grabe talaga ang trapik sa portion na yan. pag eton kasi, paseo na ang labas mo. mas mabilis.

    Was there yesterday ,

Traffic was horrible , went up around 3:30 pm yesterday traffic is from Avida near Nuvali very slow moving , traffic going down to Santa Rosa from Tagaytay is also very bad , tail end of traffic was near the Adventist university all the way down to Paseo stoplight

Reached PNPA around 5 pm , decided to just scrap the idea and took the bck road going to Silang , then just go mailing in SM dasma .

Will definitely avoid Tagaytay every holidays

Wala talaga foresight ang local government sa tagaytay to accomodate more vehicles. In other places, roads are already overbuilt to compensate for expected traffic a few years from completion. Sa tagaytay, repair lang pag nasira pero no widening or new roads. Siguro baka magreklamo local businesses.
