Skyranch is already open though they lack some facilities. I had to line up for close to 30 minutes just to get a hotdog since there weren't a lot of options. The entrance was only P50 when I went there since they just opened. They need more toilets too.

Not exactly. Income distribution is still as bad as it was in the 80s. The top 20% still control 50% of the nation's income, and the top 1% still have as much as the bottom 30%. Real wages have stayed constant since 2000 too.

talang grabe ang traffic, just today we passed by the sta rosa tagaytay road and we came from Lian Batangas, this trip usually takes me 2 hrs to get home here in muntinlupa but today it take us 5 hrs, inagahan ko pa alis ng batangas just to be sure na makakaiwas sa trapik since uwian na o pabalik na mga bakasyunista pero grabe pa rin trapik talaga (kararating lang namin ngayong 630 pm dito sa muntinlupa). Di pa naman masyadong trapik kaninang paakyat ng tagaytay but i notice na yong mga trapik enforcer before tagaytay rotonda ay nagpapa counter flow sila pero at the front ay walang enforcer na umaalay ng counterflow so tendency ay salubungan na and will already causing traffic. Then paglampas naman ng rotonda going to sta rosa don na grabe ang trapik pababa dahil lang sa parada ng banda sa may before PNPA (Tartaria yata yong place) dahil fiesta pala at walang nag a assist na traffic enforcer sa parada at one way na ang daan - Hay buhay sa Pilinas grabe ang mga daan sana may pulitiko na plataporma naman ay tatanggalin nya ang trapik sa mga daan di puro magkakaroon ng trabaho, pagkain at kung ano ano pang ek ek nila he he he - kakapagod na eh sorry parang nobela na sa haba

Looks like I made the right choice of staying behind and skipped the Nasugbu trip then to Tagaytay. Alam kong tataas nanaman ang blood pressure ko sa mga pasaway na nag-counter flow at nagsisingit sa national road.

Sana mabuksan na yung Cabuyao/Silangan-Nuvali-Tagaytay road

Yung Nuvali South road in front of Republik Wakepark was just expanded to 4 lanes recently. Looks like they are gearing up for increased vehicle flow.

Or, take STAR and exit at Talisay... And up to Tagaytay (exhilarating drive up the zigzag road with the majestic view of Taal Volcano)... Panigurado, walang traffic... You end up just before the ADB/Picnic Grove....

Sa main road lang ng Tagaytay ang traffic....

This used to be a favorite fun run route of the Nissan guys. SLEX - STAR - Lipa - STAR - Talisay - Tagaytay - kain.

Don't discount the middle class. Offspring of the babyboomer middle class have now graduated from college and are in the rising ranks of the workforce, building their families, acquiring assets, etc.

OFW remittances also continue to drive consumer spending.

i live in putingkahoy silang... and i know the traffic gets really bad.. its because now with Greenfield open from SLEX every body is taking that route to tagaytay.
yesterday was pretty bad coming down from tagaytay. because the barangay just before PNPA, had their fiesta or some celebrations. and their guest were parking on the side of the roads.. and with people crossing back and fort it slowed the traffic down..

what most people dont know is that the Carmona exit is a faster route to take to tagaytay now during weekends and most holidays..from Carmona exit all the way to GMA, just before the bridge its basically a 4 lane road.. the only traffic you will come up with again is in GMA bayan.. then after that its 4 lane again until SM dasmarinas area.. just before you turn to SM take the staight route towards the traffic lights and turn left.. which is Aguinaldo highway already..and its a 4 lane road all the way to tagaytay..

i wouldnt recomend this route a few years back. but now its a better alternate route on heavy days compared to the balibago- tagaytay road..

if your heading towards Nasugbo. you can take cavitex and head towards Ternate cavite.. there is a tunnel there now thats open and it would lead you to nasugbo town.. im not too sure though if its open to the public..

Terrible Tagaytay Traffic (summer weekends, esp holy week)
