May pila pa din dun since madami din gumagamit nung courtesy lane

pero appointment is not required for courtesy lane.

Yun ang kinaiba niya sa mga regular clients na needed ang appointment.

Used the courtesy lane too before. They advised me to go late afternoon. I think I went around 3:30-4pm.

We are renewing our passports near our place - in Robinson's Novaliches. We are scheduled on August 5.

I just renewed at SM Megamall with my youngest, considered an infant pa. Courtesy lane for the kid sinabay na rin yung akin. Went there around opening time (10am) and we were out by 11:30.

Ang maganda doon you can get to the DFA office from the 7th floor of covered parking C. Lapit lang. May 2 short flights of stairs nga lang baka mahirapan ang senior with limited mobility.

Sa malls seniors and infants can walk in, no appointment needed.

Pero yung courtesy lane like for government employees and may mga endorsement letter like what you have, sa Aseana lang yun pwede.

    Oh okay, bro.

I thought "courtesy lane" was for infants, PWDs and senior citizens...(palagi silang una sa pila...)

    I was obviously wrong....

No worries bro, kaya ako last time sa Megamall na din nag renew ang layo ko kase sa Aseana, nataon nung nag check ako ng appointment slot, after 2 weeks may available slot agad kaya kinuha ko na.

Yung officemate ko na kasabay ko nag check ng appointment date, yung date available is after 6 months pa hehe weird diba.

Nung time na nag renew na ako, dame ko nakasabay seniors walk-in lang and infants nga with their parents/guardian, priority sila dun.

Puwede bro. (at least 6 months),- kami nga 8-9 months, pa-renew na....

Dini-discourage na kasi travel if 6months na lang validity ng passport.

Exactly my reason. Hinde ko Kasi maalala ilang months before expiration nag pa renew kami.

Speaking of passports. It's funny to see my old passports until itong mga bagon. From the brown colored one tapos RFID na. Baby until adult. [emoji854]

Hehehe,- from brown to green to maroon (and then machine readable) and now the biometric passport (with segments of the lyrics of Lupang Hinirang imprinted on each page - mahirap basahin) for us mortals....

I still have my first brown passport issued in the 1980s. I wasn't a baby, maybe 3 or 4 na ko. Handwritten pa yung details [emoji14]

You can park * S&R po, there's no need to cross the road. Macapagal/Aseana ave is not SC/kid(s) friendly especially if your appointment is like mid-day, napaka inet. One more thing, have your requirements photocopied beforehand. Mahaba pila on their copying machine, saves you time.

^ depends on what passport you currently have. ito requirements for renewal:

    Renewal of Passport

i renewed mine at their alabang satellite office mid last year. sandali lang naman iyong process. 1 hour tops

ako na lang din nagpick-up since malapit lang naman kami and no rush naman ako at that time

btw, tatanggalin na daw ni new dfa sec cayetano iyong appointment system. dunno how that'll work out
