Lahat yan kasalanan ng mga traffic enforcer.... MMDA, LTO at DOTC. TEKA MERON BANG RULES AND REGULATION? O Sadya bang ganito ang mentally ng isang 3rd world country?

    My top ten:

    1. Motorists who occupy two lanes unnecessarily when turning right (jeepney linggo=buwelo).
    2. Motorists who try to get ahead of everyone (singit) and don't merge alternately in ending/merging lanes
    3. Motorists who don't use their turn signals
    4. Motorists who flash their lights or honk their horns for no apparent reason.
    5. Motorists who use hazard lights during downpours
    6. Motorists who leave their lights on highbeam
    7. Motorists who counterflow
    8. Motorists who follow ambulances
    9. Lawless motorists with back-up cars/police/ambulances
    10. Left-turning motorists who occupy the outer lane in single-lane streets and cuts in at the last minute.

I differ. I noticed that when the hazard is on when there's severe weather, visibility of the car with it on is improved compared to just the tailights on. But that's on the NLEX. Dunno if it's useful in the Metro.

^^^ I also agree, we are using hazard lights only on heavy rains specially in SLEX. I noticed that some cars taillights are not visible enough. This is just for safety reason and awareness to some rude drivers during rains.

Before, I used to turn Hazard lights on during downpours pero naisip ko, nakakalito kung ako nasa likod ko. So I just turn on the lights.

Sa F1 cars, they use flashing red lights pag downpour, I'm thinking of adopting the same pero iniisip ko pa. Mura lang kasi cost ng pag-gawa nun. Pero thing is, not everybody can understand what it is for.

I really hate drivers who are braindead. Yung habang nasa daan wala sa sarili.

I also hate drivers who don't give way. Yung parang mababawasan pag nag give way. I mean, what the heck, it won't even cost them 5 seconds!.

On the other hand, I admire drivers who drive properly. I'm not an angel on the street either but at least I follow traffic rules and drive properly 99.9% of the time. I also give way whenever possible because I want to be a good example for others.

If there's one thing that people might hate about me, it's that I drive fast when the road is clear. I also stop to let pedestrians cross (a lot of drivers hate that).

This makes perfect sense! I've also seen drivers who signal left or right when the road's just bent 90 degrees. There's nowhere else to go but turn that way for crying out loud! They have no common sense.

What I hate most are the tricycles inside our village who insist
on running in the leftmost lane forcing cars to overtake on the right.

they should stay on the right. Pag binusinahan mo dedma lang sila at
hindi man lang mag-transfer sa right lane, pag overtake mo sama pa tingin sa iyo.

I'm thinking of talking to the TODA officers and point out this glaring
traffic ignorance (or is it "just don't care") of their members.

Traffic talaga jan Sir, except on Sundays.

my wifes guilty of this, she's a new driver, she prepares everything before leaving the parking lot, exact toll fee, playlist/music, air conditioning, seatbelts, adjust seats, side mirrors, rear view (pag may ibang gumamit ng kotse). just to make sure that when she leaves the parking lot, her 100% attention is on driving. i guess you cant blame people for making sure she has full attention on his/her driving.

which reminds me of another thing i hate is people who dont lower their headlight pag kasalubong mo, minsan ang sama pa eh pundido yung isang headlight nila kaya aakalain mo motor, yun pala kotse, mahirap ito kung makipot ang daan

    Red light in an intersection.

Of course, you'd slow down while approaching it. Your lane is one more blank space further than the lane beside you. Just when you were about to go into that space, the idiot who's already stopped on the other lane beside you, sometimes a private car, but most of the time a taxi, suddenly swerves rapidly into your lane, claiming that blank spot you were supposed to be in.

Now I don't really mind having the blank spot taken-it's only a few meters. What I do mind is some moron swerving quickly into my lane without warning.

Bad motoring etiquette: What you hate the most.
