I really hope that someone passes a law banning all tricycles and slow-moving jeepneys along national highways. If you've been to some provinces, i know you know what I mean. Those aholes who just drive in the middle lane and not budge even if there's a long traffic after 'em. Tricycle drivers even have their feet put up as if relaxing on a recliner. For years now, I've been wondering about certain road safety laws being implemented, seems like those are all focused on private vehicles. If I have a peso for every PUV driver that I've seen breaking or ignoring traffic laws, I could have bought a new dashcam hehehe I counted in my mind and thought it would sound too ridiculous if I could've seen a million violations.

Private vehicles, imo, should be given extra care 'coz we are the ones paying taxes. Have you ever seen a jeepney driver or a tricycle driver give a receipt? C'mon now mr president, mr senator, mr congressman.... Please do something about it. At least for this issue, I would feel that we (private vehicle owners) are also being considered.

Evil unchecked grows, evil tolerated poisons the whole system.

Smh. Wish someone could act on this. I feel sorry for some drivers who get bullied by these puv drivers.

While I agree with most of what you said, can't say I agree with this logic. If you combine the tax of commuters who peruse these jeepneys I wouldn't be surprised if they surpass the contribution of private vehicle owners.

BUT the drivers of those puvs are the ones causing the violations. Based on your statement, should the passengers be held responsible for the acts of the drivers? If that's the case, then it only shows how biased everything is, right? Coz the puv drivers can just do anything they pleasure with the help of the tax payers' money.
Anyway, I just want everything to be fair and square on all aspects. 'coz that is what those people are always yelling at their rallies.
Btw, most of the puv violators I see (mostly tricycles though) doesn't even have passengers, coz if they do, i know the passengers would mind and the oldies would even lecture them.

Brother / sister you asked for preferential treatment because you pay more taxes, I'm just pointing out the flaw in that logic because in the grand scheme of things the PUVs serve more stakeholders.

Brother. Using "given extra care" in my first statement is admittedly wrong. My bad. Fair and equal implementation of each and every law is really what Im after.

It's a sad reality dito satin yan. Kahit right of way ka na, pag may motorcycle na sisingit.

The other night, I was there at McKinley Hills West turning left to go back to Lawton, sumingit sa kanan tung MC rider tapos biglang switch sa harapan ko. What an a$$!!!

    Agree with this bro.

And the TEs do not have the traffic-sense to ask the driver to stop asking questions and park his car at the side of the road... Mismong intersection, nagtatanong AT INI-ENTERTAIN!!!! T*ngna naman, tolerated and encouraged obstruction of traffic iyan!
