I don't get the reason for such lights. It's like they went in a shop and said "gusto ko yung tipong makaka abala ako ng matindi. Yung araw-araw may pinipikon ako".
And even then most people can't seem to figure out when to properly use their high beams.

for the most part, i think they did just that. "i want to stand out! gimme something..."
but the older camry comes with it, factory spec. huge red taillights! parang designed for las vegas.
of course they know when to use their hi beams! they use it everytime! it brightens up their front view! who cares if it limits the oncoming drivers' ?
heh heh.
there ought to be an enforced law...
LTO...? when was the last time they asked me to turn on my lights during the annual inspection?

guilty ako dito for one reason, ang problema dito sa atin pag nag signal ka the proper way, bibilisan pa lalo ng nsa likod or katabi mo para di ka makasingit. parang mauubusan ng kalsada

Newbie driver here. Hubby and I bought a second hand car last December. Been practicing for the past couple of days with my parents' driver so I need to keep tabs on this thread para hindi mabadtrip sa akin ang ibang drivers.![]()
Just learn to keep pace with everybody on the road. Go too slow and cars will be overtaking you left and right which can ruin your concentration. Go too fast and you may not have the experience and skill to react to situations accordingly. Learn to keep a mental picture of your surrounding by checking your mirrors once in a while.

^Right, that's my problem. As a newbie still learning the ropes/getting the hang of driving, my tendency is to go too slow kasi takot mabangga. When driving down Commonwealth, I'm usually at 40kph while speed limit is at 60kph. So my goal now is to keep practicing to gain confidence on the road. On the brighter side, mapagbigay talaga ako sa mga vehicles na nagsisignal to turn. Hehe.
I realllllly hate those flashing brake lights.
Super annoying
I've been seeing a lot of this on the roads lately. Nakakainis kasi, one, hindi sya standard. Two, hazard sa daan kasi di mo matantya ang pag break nila. I mean yes we know once the break light flashes, they are breaking.

It all boils down to adaptability. Im a proud pinoy but im the first to agree that in general we lack discipline in a lot of things.

Because I am sick of those drivers who speed up or flash their lights when I do the proper thing by signaling to turn, what I do is signal the moment I turn, but not before checking my mirrors that all is clear so that I don't cut into anyone's path.
