This usually happens when I go home during the weekend.. driving solo and I have all the time to myself... the goon has no choice but to try to cut infront of some vehicles to get back in line.....hehehehe.... but when Im with the wife.. ay.. pag bigyan ko na raw... I tell her... if every driver eh pag bibigyan ang mga yan they will do it all the time... baka daw one day I might get shot....

I wonder how much a second hand bank armored vehicle is....hmmmm

Aminado ako, kapag may gusto magcut sa lane ko hindi ko talaga pinagbibigyan, lalo ako tumututok sa harap ko pero not all the time. Kapag alam kong kailangan talaga mag merge example, from 2 lanes to 1 lane, alternate dapat, bigayan.

Not worth the hassle.

Appropriately placed road signs and lane markings that are ignored.

I mean, let's face it, some folks (or should I say a lot of folks) behind lane markings and road signages nowadays do not have logic on their side when they execute their plans. The results are signages being too small to read, or too late to read, and lanes leading to nowhere, or to accidents just waiting to happen.

It's not that I'm espousing anarchy by disregarding traffic signs and lane markings because they're illogical -- depending on your logic or if you're a PUV -- but it's doubly bad motoring if you disregard traffic signs and lane markings when they completely make sense.

Was leaving Subic Bay for Manila yesterday when there was a vehicle, about 3 cars in front, just waiting to break free from the rest of the pack -- but doing it in the least responsible fashion. He was trying to overtake on the right (shoulder) where the big signboard said "No overtaking on shoulder". Then, he tried to muscle his way thru by positioning to overtake on a solid yellow center line.

Grrr! Anyhow, he got a dose of his medicine when the van he overtook prematurely and cut into did not react. His SUVs' collides with the van as he overtakes.

That train is never late!!.... as expected going home to Bulacan for the weekend.... bumper to bumper traffic along Quirino Highway approaching a bridge which will cross over to San Jose Bulacan. this 2 lane highway funnels into a single lane as it snakes into this bridge crossing.... and while the rest of the civilized world waits in line for 30 - 45 mins... I see idiots (from my lan) from my side mirror counterflowing into the opposite direction.... kapal noh...

What takes the cake is an freekin 10 wheeler truck that tries to cut into the space infront of me.... as in trying to singit to the max.... I roll down my window and ask the pahinante...." Anong plano nyo? sisingit kayo?" the Pahinante affirms.... I say.." di na kayo nahiya? lahat nakapila dito..."

Phinante mumbles somethings.....(probably how kinakawa silang mahihirap..hahaha) but I just close down my window and make sure when I move forward... I do it slowly to give the vehicle behind me a chance to close the gap so the idiot cant get in.....

Same here, most of the time i signal my intent even if it means the car lazily following on the next lane will speed up and block me off like an idiot. I also don't signal and switch at the same time (yung ibang drivers kasi, sabay na yung signal at lipat without even checking properly if they are being given space). Also, when a person signals properly and waits to go to my lane, and is coming from a proper lane just as well, i will slow down and give way as long as there is space; kung katabi ko na siya and my car is ahead, i'll just go ahead (huwag lang ako pinahin at magpumilit).

    "Naghahanap buhay lang daw"

I also do that when there are those who are counterflowing or are coming from the the wrong lane (i.e. shoulder) and are trying to merge with the proper lane. I keep to my line and allow enough speed to ensure the person following behind me also doesnt get cut off. Yung mali kasi ng ibang drivers is that when they are being forced by another car to cut in, they avoid them by speeding up and moving the car off their line so in effect, this allows the car to cut off the person following behind in most cases, unless the following car is likewise stubborn and will stick like an eel to the car in front.
