    20K for a 1983 W123-200G.

I got some good parts off it, and swapped it over the other W123-200G that I had. Used it for awhile going to the office, rain or shine, come hell or high water, nothing could stop that beater. Even if the carpets were already getting soaked.

Got to flip it for 30K, as-is.

40K for a W201-190E. Bought if from a widow. It was supposed to be her late husbands' resto project, then the poor fellow died of cancer. Cleaned the car inside out, it was parked near a garbege dump, so rats converted it to living quarters. Tuned the engine, and added AC gas. It was a nice driver, 2.3 litre, 5 speed manual. But somehow I got to assume it was "haunted" since the mono-wiper would always turn on, even when the key is out of the ignition.

Flipped it for 65K, ghosts and all ........

Mas mura pa pala yun W123 ko, go it for FREE from a family friend, yun nga lang yung gastos ko sa pag restore is enough to buy a decent W124

A branch manager of UCPB that I know of nabili rin nya ng piso yung CRV nya.

My second car. Back in 1987, I bought a "slightly used" 1986 Nissan Pulsar NX for $8000. M/T, no A/C, no cassette, has a sunroof.

    Also at 55hp, no power.
