    If there was one, i'm guessing it would probably cost P150K+ more than the equivalent gasoline model.
    So far only gasoline (petrol) engines have been announced during its ASEAN debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show, a 125PS 1.6 Ti-VCT and a 170PS 2.0 Ti-VCT GDi.

    Hi Sirs,

    Ano ba ang compression ratio ng GDI engine ng Focus? Ano ba mas maganda yung sa new focus or sa new mazda technology na 14:1 ata yung compression ratio ng engines nila?

    The compression ratio of the 170PS (168hp) 2.0 Ti-VCT GDi engine is 12:1.

    The local spec 162hp (164PS) CX-5 SKYACTIV has a 14:1 compression ratio, for the USDM models its 13:1 (155hp CX-5 SKYACTIV) AND 12:1 (155hp Mazda 3 SKYACTIV)

    The local spec 2012 Mazda 3 2.0 does not use a SKYACTIV engine, it uses the old 145hp 2.0 MZR engine, but it gets a new 5-speed AT.

    That's when customer deliveries arrive, but I think prior to that (July to August period?), people should be able to see and check out the car.
    I'm just not sure what Ford has planned, if they will tour the car in different showrooms or have an event.
    One reply I got though was they might not be at this year's Philippine International Motor Show (August).

    ang galing galing naman ng Ford talaga with this ecoboost. this is truly revolutionary di katulad ng ginagawa ni CRV and Hyundai. i heard Mazda's skyactive is good also.

    yup 13km/ltr on the cx-5 city driving. for a car that size that's pretty damn impressive.

    Yes, but not yet in the ASEAN Focus. (For now, they will only launch naturally aspirated 1.6 and 2.0 Focus models in the ASEAN markets)
    The 2.0 EcoBoost is available in the newly launched FWD Explorer XLT

    No word yet if Ford will launch the 2013 Focus ST here. This model is powered by a 250PS 2.0 EcoBoost engine and only comes with a 6-speed manual.
    The new Focus ST is supposed to be a global performance Ford model.

    Sure ba na yung 125 hp na 1.6L tivct yung ilalabas dito and not the 105 hp?

    Just read the press release. Ok na yung 1.6 with 125 hp i guess. The altis has 122hp.

    How come gdi engines are slowly making an appearance dito sa atin? Are they tuned differently from the gdi abroad? Akala ko ba our fuel is too dirty for gdi? Or was it just an alibi para ubusin muna ng mga auto brands ung lumang engines nila?

    Ford will probably announce the official prices next month when they launch the all-new Focus and 2013 Mustang.
    According to the official website of Ford Philippines, Active Park Assist is standard on the Sport+ and Titanium+ Focus trims.

    i heard they would launch 1.6 and 2.0 liter variants.........hmmmmmmm what do you guys think wait for these are go for the fiesta tou 2 different class but i think price wise they would differ from 150 to 200k from fiesta to all new focus
