which variant is your Everest sir? that seems pretty low, 7.6km/L average. I mean much lower than what I've read so far. I'm under the impression na maganda ang fuel consumption sa new Everest. I was thinking between the lines of 9km/L.

i'm interested in getting the Ford Everest Trend 2.2 AT.

Hi! We are planning to buy new service vehicle. I will be the one frequently using the vehicle and one of the considerations in buying vehicle is my height. I stand 4'11" that is why car is not an option. Whenever I am inside the car, I feel like i am very small and that huge trucks will bump into me. Another is that I don't see the car's bumper and I feel like I am not good in estimating distance/clearance.

I am also considering the cost, fuel consumption and maintenance. After browsing the internet, we are undecided between Ford Ecosport 1.5 Ambiente or Trend and Toyota Avanza. What I like most in Avanza is that it can carry more passengers compared to ecosport but ecosport is more appealing to me in terms of exterior appearance and also the safety features. I am also considering the fuel consumption and maintenance since ford has the "high maintenance image".

Thank you so much for your help.

After spending Holy Week in Bicol province, our Ecosport averaged 15km/l (60% highway 40%city-heavy traffic).

Will still improve a little bit probably. Had a TD32 NA a/t pickup before, that was much lighter than your Ranger but FE is pretty close. 12Km/L highway, 7Km/L city. And that was ages ago (early 2000s). Traffic was much lighter then so I say your FE is pretty good.

Ah, you meant the Escape 1.6L Ecoboost SE FWD model. Expect something around 6-7 km/L on city driving routes with it. This is the expected fuel consumption of CUVs with either 2.0L/2.5L naturally-aspirated or 1.5L-2.0L turbo engines.

Same here, unfortunately. 5-6 km/L for the last 250kms, 70-80% city driving, medium-heavy traffic. Grabe talo pa ang heavy SUVs sa consumption wew.
Pero pag highway and 60kph and up ang speed, umaabot naman ng 7-8L/100km, roughly 14 km/L, doon sa trip meter, not sure if it's pretty accurate.

Got the car 2nd hand but I also recently had change oil (fully synthetic) and replaced all spark plugs (OEM).
Baka ipacheck ko na sa Casa (iniiwasan ko ito kasi taga sila hehe) if di pa magimprove sa next full tank..

You meant fuel consumption, right? A friend drives one and he is getting around 6-7 km/L on city driving routes. It is quite a sporty ride, not as quick as the Civic RS but quicker than most compacts.

thank you, I'm interested in one but wary on consumption and reliability.
