FUEL CONSUMPTION ON THE NEW EVEREST 2007, A/T 4x2?

we have the same unit got it last 15may, 4x2 A/T, silver, city driving with a trip to antipolo for blessing averaged 6.4km/L.,then val.city to manaoag,pangasinan straight baguio city with 7pax on board=5.8km/L, this was all on overdrive.i brought the unit for 1st service and complained about the high fuel consumption, advised me to put off O/D if on city driving and hill climbing.this time i read the manual, my mistake that should have done in the beginning. after driving it to Bicol with lots of uphill/downhill/twisties with 6 pax and luggages on board and followed what the manual says, i averaged 8.8km/L with speed 80-110 km/hr, i used shell diesel.

paano ba ang naka ON na OVERDRIVE?
pag nakailaw (yun orange-lit icon sa panel) o pag walang nakailaw (yun default na walang nakailaw sa panel)???

When traveled from cagayan to zamboanga, i only averaged 13km/l sa 3.0 na eve.

i tried not passing 2,000rpm as much as possible and sometimes reach 2,500 if overtaking with overdrive off.

try nyo po, while off ang overdrive try going around 90kph then turn on the overdrive pra mag fifth gear sya. tapos maintain lang sa 2krpm, i think thats how i got the 13km/l

sir pag nka off yung ilaw na orange, meaning off po ang overdrive.

AFAIK mga Sirs, pag me ilaw, it means naka-OFF ang Overdrive, so Mas mataas ang RPM na inaabot nya bago sya mag shift, meaning, more power nakukuha mo, so therefore, mas malakas sya sa fuel consumption.
