Hi medyo noob sa cars, ask ko lang sana if may nakakaalam ng price range ng alternator for a 2010 ford escape medyo nagffluctuate kasi battery voltage ng bigtime if may electronics na gunamit. Maayos naman ang wirings and cables. Alternator kaya ang problem and how much kaya?

It is not difficult to have the alternator checked. It is usually done for free by decent battery outlets.
Alternators are pretty robust items, and can outlast the engine. Typical problems include:
Brushes. These are wear and tear items, and are easily and cheaply replaced.
Electronics (ICs, diodes). Also easy to replace, but much more expensive than brushes.
    Winding burnout. Uncommon, but possible.
Once the alternator is shown to be the culprit, it can usually be fixed by a good alternator repair shop.
Fix versus replace... If brand new, fine! Just be aware that new units are expensive.
Surplus? I prefer to have mine repaired.

If the cause of the problem is battery, then you should have no signs at all when the engine is running. With the engine running, the electricity needed is provided by the alternator, not the battery.

Unless... Your electronics require more power than the alternator can provide. In which case, your battery runs down.
    What is your electronics requirements?
