Guys. Have you heard confirmed news when the 2016 facelifted 2.3 li explorer would be available? Want to shift reservation i placed last March for the Everest to the Expy. Your inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks!

But a 3.5 engine with twin turbos is effectively a 5.0 liter engine in displacement. That uses more fuel even at 2k rpm where the turbos have spooled up already. You inject more fuel into the cylinders and compress more air with the turbos.

Hi sir, went to ford balintawak yesterday for 1000km check up. From bataan to qc then back to bataan again, i calculated my consumption and it was at 8.8km/l. Not bad after all hehe

Like I said...less effort equals lesser fuel consumption. The Explorer body is heavy to begin with and I think the weight should be taken into account. I've driven the Limited V6 naturally aspirated from Manila to Pangsinan and back with majority expressways...best F/C is 7.5-8km/ltr. And this done going only 100-110kmh. 8.8km/liter is pretty good if you ask me.

Not OEM but pwede na din. Although I think they still have the OEM rear bumper cover.

I bought the EXPLORER emblem (yung dinidikit sa hood) from them.

    Question:
After I changed my Explo's battery, when I looked at the remaining mileage (slightly below 1/4), it stated 150 km. And when I gassed up to almost full, it was about "500 km to empty". There must be a computer glitch. Coz ever since, when the tank is full, maximum mileage is only around 360 km.

Well, it's dealer dependent yung pricing ng accessories. You can check other dealerships. If i recall it right, i got my fuel lock at 1.6K while the mudguards at around 3.8K.

Called motolite, 9,150 for gold G65. Less 350 daw pag trade-in yung motorcraft. Sure naman yung size sir dba? Baka kasi pagdating hindi mag fit? Also, meron pa ba ibang alternative good brand just in case?
