share ko lang for those who hasn't bought WeatherTech yet, there is a private seller for Husky liners sa Sulit.com... search nyo lang

Cheaper sya and for the first row liners meron sya extra lip that covers the carpet at the edge of the door sill... Di ko lang sure about the quality compared to weathertech, tsaka parang mas makapal at mabigat sya.

I would still recommend weather tech. Di ako nanghinayang sa weather tech.

@macsd: Ford Global claimed that the gas tank is seal proof and only the nozzles from gas stations can open the gas lid. So hindi daw kayang sipsipin yung gas. Or maybe they just didn't know what they were talking about
3ple4, meron acrylic/flexiglass covers on those shops you've mentioned. No need to go Banawe. May be it just depend on the thickness or color shade that would vary.
Well those SA sometimes just say something out of their own mind. Sila na nga nagsabi, yung nozzle sa gas station lang ang pwede. What if i have the same nozzle & slide a hose into the nozzle, di ba pwede ng masipsip ang gas. Actually hindi yun ang pinamalaking problem that i can anticipate cause it's easy to refill a gas tank, though istorbo nga lang. I have a friend na nagloko ang auto, yung ba bigla na lang mamatay engine then after a while aandar uli. it took them so long to figure out the problem, until they removed the gas tank. Walla, inside the gas tank is a piece of soap. Soap does not melt on gas but it can go down & block the gas line paghigot ng gas pump. How the soap got in there is still a big question. So before any unscrupulous guy can think about it, better seal it up specially our gas tank can easily be open from the outside.

When i checked the auto wiper, sabi agad nila meron daw. They even showed to me how it set it up until they figured out themselves na wala pala. Pinagintay pa ako ng 15 minutes to consult mga mechanics nila to confirm wala nga. later they showed me the Exped that has such feature & it has a big black box attach on the windshield behind the rear view mirror, yun daw ang sensor at ang explo eh wala nun. The point is those SA are more often not technically sound , alam lang nila yung commercial aspect. Though some female SA alam din humiga to close a deal. hehehe...

What I haven't experimented is if you don't have the key nearby and the explorer is locked, can someone open the lid of the gas filler?.... Because if anybody can open that lid, then it's worth buying the gas tank cover lock. Anybody checked on this?

btw garyq which would you recommend the OEM or aftermarket? i want better output but of course if the OEM is more reliable than aftermarket then i'd rather get that one.
The oem hid system of the your vehicle is d3S type, not very common for ballasts and bulb replacement. The first two units I did had oem bulbs and aftermarket ballasts with oem internals, i.e it is an a.c ballasts and the internals are the same as the matsushita ones that I sell. Personally if I have your vehicle, I would get oem bulbs, Philips 85122+ made in Germany and the aftermarket ballasts. In more than 2 years of doing this, the quality of these ballasts is comparable with the oem ones and it is very reliable. I have it in my Jazz 2009 and up to know hindi pa ako nagpapalit and not a single time that it did not fire up my bulbs.

3ple4: OEM is from Ford but actually Osram ang HID system ng Ford Explorer 2012. The bulbs and ballasts are Osrams. All others would be considered aftermarket. Very important lang to know what aftermarket units to install. The projectors that I use are aftermarket but the output is miles away from the stock projectors from Ford. From the looks of the oem projector, it looks like its European made, Hella or Bosch.

prostee: I make my own wiring harness for this package and it is oem in specifications. wire sizes, insulation type, etc. Walang puputulin sa stock harness mo. The stock elec syst is fully isolated from the hid system that I install.

The projectors are aftermarket but as I mentioned, it is far better than the oem ones which are halogen projectors with a lowering shield for the High output (parang bixenon na hid pero halogen lang), weird for Ford to do this. Will PM you.

I also have a hid fog projector package for this vehicle.

previously on my other cars but not on this one. napurnada ang game plan kasi yung SA na promote & moved to other dealership tapos yung manager nya lumipat naman ng ibang manufacturer. so ang pumalit, lahat boys na, malas!

Yes, the cover is mechanical that can be easily open from the outside , no remote needed. The lid that covers the entrance of the gas tank is just spring loaded. Try to insert the plastic gas funnel and it'll go through. That being said, next thing taong walang magawa eh slide a hose to siphon the gas or throw in some dirt or something. Now your in trouble.
