I'm not sure about that, since its pretty much loaded, it even has Rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Control.
The Ranger and BT-50 are mechanically identical (2.2 vs 2.2, 3.2 vs 3.2) and are more or less the same under the skin, unlike the previous generation models which were developed by Mazda, the new models were developed by Ford.Originally Posted by doublej
Hill Descent Control is only for the 4x4 model. Just like the 4x2 Ranger XLT, the 4x2 BT-50 has no Hill Descent Control.
Out of curiosity, does the local spec BT-50 have Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Control?

Yes meron lahat na basa 2.2 xlt meron sa 2.2 bt 50 loaded dn plus leather seats, hill lauch assist at dynamic stability control. Kaya mas mahal.
to those who have their rangers installed with back-up sensor at alabang (i forgot the shop) pa post naman po ng pics. I just want to have an idea on how it was installed kasi nga sabi dito sa forum mahirap lagyan pag naka chrome ang bumper. I'm planning to buy this truck kasi by early next year para mas available na din yung mga accessories and ito ang una kong gusto ipa install. Mahirap umatras kasi pag malaki oto tapos di mo nakikita. We have a field master din tapos walang back-up sensor medyo mahirap lalo na sa mga maliit na kalye tapos mag backing ka. sa small car ko may ganito ang dali ng buhay eh. hehe. thanks tsikot.![]()
The voice command is tricky in some way... or its just a matter of getting use to![]()
Nakalimutan ko may built in dn pala na back up sensor ang bt 50 aside sa added features kaya mas mahal. Yung 2.2 compared sa 2.2 xlt. Engine and performance pareho lang. Same platform.
Di ko lang talaga masikmura yung tail lights ng Bt-50 why oh why![]()
Anyway siguro because of the BT-50 3.2 mas mapapa aga yung Wildtrak ko![]()
pero come to think of it, comparing the 2.2 M/T variants of Ranger and BT-50, 1.300m for the BT-50 and 1.069m for the Ranger XLT.
for 230k difference, you would have:
- Dual zone Auto climate
- leather seats
- stability control
- parking sensors
unless you desperately need the stability control, it is not worth the 230k IMHO, it does not justify the 230k difference. mga 100k lang dapat. not to mention you will also loose the Macho truck looks of the Ranger. the interior is better on the BT-50 for me.
for the 4x4 BT-50 * 1.490m, I would gladly wait nalang for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 4x4 * 1.519m. more features, better exterior appearance with the sportier set-up and the 18" rims.

I don,t own both trucks mentioned, pero I respect your choices, nasa tumitingin yan eh, kung ano maganda sa kanya. Ang ok sa yo, sa iba naman hindi, kaya kanya kanya lang yan.
Hi Everyone I am new here. I was wondering about the airbags. I went to my ford dealer today and I looked at the ranger. I was surprised it had only 2 airbags. Totoo ba ito? I looked at the website and it advertises more airbags. Any has the same concern as me?
The Ford Philippines website mentions only two airbags for the new Ranger: driver and passenger.
Baka sa European spec or Wildtrak variant yung nabasa mo, with the side curtain and knee airbags.
