Nice. Sana exact same specs ang Thailand and Philippines. Ok yung Double Cab 2.2L Hi-rider Wildtrak 6AT, meron na rin Bluetooth with voice command.

Pero yung Everest version pa rin hintay ko. Mga 2013 pa siguro 'to.

Nope you're wrong. The 2011 Ford Ranger in the shootout of pickuptrucks.com is the last model of the now extinct U.S. Version only 4.0 regular gasoline V6 ranger. It was already discontinued by Ford U.S. last December 2011. It has been in the U.S. market for 20 years. And Ford killed it so as it could focus on the best-selling F-150 & F-series trucks.

The one in the video above is the all-new global Ford Ranger with 3.2 Penta TDCi. Global as it would be offered & marketed all-over the world, EXCEPT for the U.S. soil. Ford is scared that this new ranger might cannibalize some of the F-150's U.S. market. It was meant to lose in the shootout against most of the new contenders as it was abandoned by Ford in terms of re-styling, modifying, & upgrading. These new contenders are updated, facelifted, & even infused with the latest technologies by their respective manufacturers. Yes I knew very well, this 2012 Ranger is not intended for North America.
I mean Ford has the best approach in marketing but not all their products has been proven good enough.

The tweaked Taco 4.0 V6 engine is also just as old as that of the phased-out North American Ranger.
Anyway, hope that there will be same shoot-out in Asia Pacific to test this new Ranger.
No direct match for this Penta, the Nav is V6, the rest are 4 bangers.
The new Ranger 2.2L mill is a direct-contender with the VW Amarok 2.0L in land down under.

I'm not a Ford guy but I'm really watching out for this Ford.

My pal's Ranger is almost ten years old but has gone about its business without much fuss. It's used as a delivery vehicle on weekdays, btw.
