Mahal din ah. Typical Mang Inasal cost P6M-P7M. Mas mahal nga Jbee and KFC pero still di ako convince kaya yan 3 years! Pag mall branch pa there are even more expenses because malls get a % of your gross sales...

April 28th, 2010 07:52 PM #73Hmmm Inasal is a street food, Ginagawang sumsuman yan sa amin here. Its cheap to make. (Im surprise to see & the 1st time I got here in Manila and see Chicken Bacolod Inasal because it looks Formal). It depends nalang if you want to make yours stand out. So add more ingredients= more expensive. I think Mang Inasal already have that secret recipe that balance ratio of taste and expense for ingredients. Also you dont need those expensive equipment to cook your menu Like Deep fry equip. etc. You only need "Uling" and steel/iron bars for grilling & cooking. It's a fast food thats why it does not compete directly with Bacolod Chicken or JT in terms of Taste (But sad to say some people find Mang Inasal more tastier than Bacolod CHicken or JT hehe malas naman). Plus the fact that Iloilo Inasal is different from Bacolod Inasal or Dumaguete Inasal. Even though Bacolod popularize Chicken Inasal, I already remembered eating inasal when I was a kid in the mid 1970's in Iloilo and there were many restaurant or street stalls selling them. And also when I visit my relatives in Dumaguete. So we already develop our distinct Inasal identity.
If People of Luzon will see Chicken "Inasal" as a familiar part of their restaurant diet like the way us here in Western Visayas sees it. Then many will never get tired of it. And also its the only fast food that is comparable to Jollibee, MCDO, Chowking, and KFC, that brings a "Filipino native-like" alternative choice.
So lets just wait and see.

masarap naman kumain sa mang inasal.. unlimited rice and soup.. tapos pag
maganda pa yung mga crew..
anyways..
