Mang inasal (mam/sir extra rice)

Mang Inasal is different from Bacolod Chicken Inasal....iba talaga ang lasa parang compare mo ang night and day...Mang Inasal is from Iloilo City...paano maging chicken Bacolod ang Mang Inasal.
Swerte lang talaga ang Mang Inasal patok sila sa masa and their concept of having a fastfood style really made them a billion peso in just under 5 years.

For me hindi masarap ang Mang Inasal...medyo matamis. If you want the real Bacolod inasal...go to JT's Inasal.

ung inasal ng mang inasal is parang chicken bbq na matamis tamis nga. kaya nagustuhan ko. siguro hindi ko talaga trip yung inasal, kasi dati kumain kami sa bacolod inasal hindi ko talaga nagustuhan yung manok. parang walang lasa. hehehe

nagsara nga pala yung Mang Inasal sa Harbour Square sa gilid ng CCP,
sarap pa naman kumain doon, PM2 lagi ang order ko doon plus 2 rice...
yung dalawang kasama ko plus 3 rice sila each....

2 weeks halos araw-araw kami kumakain doon, tinatanggihan na kami bigyan ng kanin.. hehehe...

hmmmm, bakit kaya sila nagsara?

They are expanding too fast IMO for their own good... Baka mapilayan sila sa sobrang bilis ng paglaki...

Sadly Mang Inasal is just your typical lechon manok. It doesn't taste the expected bacolod chicken. Ok sya kung gutom na gutom ka but don't expect to taste a Bacolod Chicken Inasal.

Yeah, may nagsabi na inasal means grilled well kung sana ganun lang dapat ginawa na lang nilang Mang BBQ or Mang Grilled Chicken.

Don't waste your money if you're expecting a taste of Chicken Bacolod Inasal. It's just your regular lechon manok. Better yet order at Baliwag's, Andoks or sa kahit anong favorite ninyong lechon manok store at magluto na lang ng rice sa bahay.

I am not sure how this chain of restaurants is related to Chicken Bacolod here in BF Paranaque, but they practically offer the same menu..... One more thing, Chicken Bacolod is in existence long before Mang Inasal came out in the market..... Moreover, sa akin at sa aming mga engineers,- the best pa rin ang Chicken Bacolod..... You've got to try it!

Majority ng chicken resto sa pinas broiler type = hormones = Kumakain ka ng chemical hormones= unexplained diseases, skin diseases...etc

I hope magkaroon ng native chicken resto sa metro manila. Gusto ko na din kumain ulit ng manok pero tiis muna.

I've never tried real chicken inasal, so Mang Inasal tastes good for me, better than Baliwag's or Andok's. Basta may sawsawan with sili, solve na.

Granted that the original Inasal chicken taste is not what you'll find in Mang Inasal (you'd be best looking for Bacolod Chicken Inasal or Bacolod Chicken House), their own chicken tastes really good. And that red 'chicken oil' (personally i call it liquid cholosterol) adds flavor to the meal.

And the best part is that it gives so much bang-for-the-buck.
Last Friday all I had was 140 pesos. That included fare costs (32 peso bus from fairview ) So I was left with 108 pesos. Thing is, I was awfully hungry at the time as I haven't eaten the whole day.

Et voila, Mang Inasal saves the day. For 99 pesos, I get my breast and wing, 6 cups of rice and 2 bowls of soup.

Madalas ako sa Mang Inasal. Been observing the very bad attitude of many people taking advantage of their unlimited rice scheme. Madalas daming rice left over and I'm sure the franchise owner is aware of this problem. They should come up with notices in encouraging their patrons not to be wasteful. The owner should exercise social responsibility by doing so.

I don't eat rice, but their grilled chicken is definitely good...specially if you have it with their Achara! yum yum yum! If I really get the cravings for a good chicken dish...I just buy one of those Lecheon Manok and eat it all. yum yum yum! Now I'm hungry.

I have a friend who owns a franchise of Mang Inasal. Dami talaga nasasayang na rice, even those unserved na nasa rice cooker pa. At first, pinapamigay nya sa mga staff nila yung natirang rice, pero baka sinasadya na damihan yung luto para may mauwi silang rice. Now, tinatapon nalang daw nila rice.

Kami ng family ko almost weekly sa Mang Inasal. Much cheaper din ang MI for blow out purposes etc. 99 pesos lang per pax. Sulit!!!!
