Shell Helix Ultra Engine Oil ok ba?

Hi to all,

I just would like to ask kung ok itong Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 as engine oil. My mechanic from Honda recommend this for my change oil..ito daw recommended nila sa client nila. OK ba ito sa mga gumagamit ng ganitong brand?

How much po Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40?

Also pwede narin ba ito ang gamiting transmission oil?

My ride is Honda Civic VTI 2000.

Tanong ko narin anong magandang collant & how much?

no experience with shell. we use motul in the shop and it should be comparable.

for coolant, we only use motul and castrol.

If it is comparable with motul I think I'l settle for for it. Do have any Idea how much it cost?

how about the castrol coolant how much po & how many liters?

anong kulay ang lalagyan nya? yung gray ba o blue?
kung yung blue, i have been using that for the past 6 years. it works fine with me.
kung yung gray, ito ata yung fully synthetic nila. ok lang din yan.

you'll need at least 2 liters of coolant for most cars if it concentrated.

same range bro.... more or less than a few pesos....

sa shell maya yung blue, 1200+ lang. last time na nagpa-change oil me last month. 1668 yung package to be exact plus labor and oil filter. they accept creditcard. :)

Meron pa bang mas nakakalam na mura kung saan branch? yung Shell HElix Plus na kulay blue.

shell maya is at buendia corner dela costa street, makati.

bro... if i were you (kung talagang gusto mong magtipid o maka save)

i will just buy my oil from the outside (example: sa tru value or sa ace hardware). mas mura sila ng di hamak kesa sa gas stations. tapos bumili ka na rin ng other things needed like oil filter, plugs, sa mga suking auto supply shops. sigurado ako makakamura ka. this way, may options ka din on what oil you can use. choices are havoline energy, shell, castrol, motul, etc.... depende pricing nyan based sa viscosity, which is normally, within the same range.

tapos dalahin mo na lang sa gas station or sa place where oil change/tune-up is performed para labor lang babayaran mo. sure ako makakamura ka dun.

Ay ganon po ba..kala ko mas mura sa mga gas station dahil shell mismo.

sige tingin ako sa handyman & other outside auto supply.
