    Hello friends.

How many liters (during a normal engine oil change) would a 1998 Nissan Cefiro with a VQ20DE engine (2.0 liter V6) require? Lost the owner's handbook - was able to search on the web that a VQ30DE requires 4 liters, would this be the same?

And while we're on the subject of lost owner's handbooks - how many liters of Automatic Transmission Fluid is required during a normal ATF change? On a similar model Maxima with a VQ30DE, it's 9.4 liters. I understand that not all of this though is emptied out during a normal fluid change. What fluid type is recommended?

    Shouldn't have lost that handbook...thanks!

hi! my vq20 requires about 3.75 L of engine oil. the manual recommends 5w30 (energy conserving oil).

    Thanks much bro!

Would you have any idea about the automatic tranny fluid - how much is needed during a fluid change and what type is recommended?

4 lits is more than enough. eithe a 5w30 or 10w30 works fine.

most dex 3 atfs will work without problems. you will need 3-4 lits if you do a regular drain refill. mga 12-15 lits if you use transtech.
