^sir yun synth oil hanggang 10K km or 1 year which ever comes first you have to oil change mababasa mo sa oil container change oil 1 year, kahit 2K km lang mileage pero lampas 1 year na dapat palit na oil kasi nagkakaron ng tubig due to condensation lalo na bihira gamitin,yun oil hindi napapainit lagi thereby oil becomes acidic,pati during cold start hindi maganda lubrication bcoz of water content in the oil which will cause a premature worn out of the moving engine parts.
To determine the condition of the oil or if you want to know the oil change intervals can be safely extended is thru an Oil Analysis.

Gamit ka 10w30 or 10w40 viscosity.

Maliit makina nyan kaya mas ideal 10w30.

^ Ano pa ba ang basis para malaman natin na maganda ang quality oil? Regardless ang brand? Sufficient na ba ang viscosity at API rating? tia

Check mo company kung gaano kalaki, kung trusted na ba, specification, end user satisfaction. Maganda din kung makikita nyo sa international forums oil analysis para may reference.

Tapos doon na papasok kung mura ba price. Kasi ang langis itatapon din, kaya dont waste money sa super mahal. Halos magkakapareha mga yan sa quality at yung ibang mura mas maganda pa performance.

Pero as always follow your car manual api rating. Dito sa pinas masaya na engine sa 10w30 at 10w40.

Nice sir, thanks.... How about TBN total base number dapat daw mga 8 up as I have read here yung mga performance oil eh lower 8 pano yun?

may booth sila nun motorshow, sabi nun agent nila same daw sa delo ang kixx, pero mas mataas daw ang groupings nya(forgot ano na term tawag dun).

how about shell helix hx5 15w40 diesel oil may na ka try na ba? any feedback?

naka lagay kasi sa container nya, "reduce engine noise" baka tumahimik din innova ko konti.

Safe choice pag shell helix.. I doubt there would be significant change sa engine noise mo.. If wala yung mga primary choices ko, shell helix would always be my alternative..
