    Get a p08 box, fuel pump, possibly injectors, and cam gear. Whp ng ganyan is just 80 to 90hp.

    You could get started with that and magubos ng budget sa suspension, tires and bucket seats. That is kung track attack.

    Depende lahat sa tuning bro. Get a very good tuner and mechanic.

    Edit: meron po h series makina Honda. Usually on accords stock. Most common is the h22.
    So sir what do you suggest ? Keep my engine ? And get a 20 cam vtec head ? P08 Box , Fuel Pump, Injectors? and cam gear?
    Magkano to max yun ? What kind of Head pwede mong ma suggest sir ? ZC Vtec o b20 ? Anong Prefer nyong Head ? and how much ?

    I still think that if he wants a track car he should just get another car - making your daily drive as your track toy means making a lot of compromises. And again, the City chassis just isn't as good as the EG/EK.

    By any chance sir, marami na po ba kayo alam sa pagmemekaniko?

    I mean nakapag DIY na po ba kayo sa engine nyo at kayo na gumagawa ng sira?

    If yes, then go with your gut feeling at sa ma-reresearch nyo.

    But based sa mga nabasa ko sa mga nagcomment nun sumagot kayo ng RACING. Feeling ko po parang kulang pa yung research nyo at di pa ata po kayo nakakapag-mekaniko.

    IMHO, before going for engine swap and think of racing dapat po ata marami na store knowledge sa engine.

    Ika nga nun mekaniko ko, kung magtatalyer ka dapat ikaw ang top mechanic. Dahil kung tauhan mo ang top mechanic at by chance pumalpak, yun name mo as owner ng talyer mapapahiya.

    I think pareho din ang concept sa pagre-racing. Dapat ikaw na ang magaling kumalikot ng oto mo at ikaw na rin ang magaling nitong mekaniko. By that, alam mo ang response ng makina at limits nito sa track (kung track racing ang balak hehe)

    OK, basics muna. D series, ang pwede mo lang lagay diyan... D series components.

    Head ng b20 b16 hindi pwede.

    Best you can do is 20 cam lobe d15b vtec.

    Fuel pump and injector hindi biro gastos. I got 560cc injector for 15k. Walbro pump 255lph 6.5k. Cam gear for sohc around 5k. Ecu 10k.

    Wala ka pa transmission. Tuning 15k, mechanic to install 10k to 15k, dyno 5k per hour. Depende, gastos ka na sa mechanic since more experience more moolah.

    Yes keep the engine pero it would not satisfy you. I've done cam gear and box pero bitin sa power kaya boost na ko.

    T3/t4 turbo charger kit kinuha ko b20 engine.

    Compute ka na lang how much. All motor without retainers, pistons, etc can only give minimal increase unlike turbo, more hp.

    All these and no suspension and tires pa.

    How much for all that for minimal hp gain? Turbo talaga bang for buck.

    Kung mabibitin increase psi, Palit piston valve spring retainers. More value for the money imo.

    Well it's up to you lahat yan. Just be prepared to shell out serious moolah.

    *TS if racing talaga, go for B series na, mabibitin ka lang sa D series. Kung ang path na dadaan mo sa yun sinabi ni sir [archie], after mo matapos ng gastos sa pag upgrade ng D series ay parang bumili ka na din ng B series. isagad mo na para isang gastusan na lang hehehe

    d15 ay naka kabit sa EK .mas maganda kung maka bibili ka ng buong engine kasama ang mga harness at comp box,para salpak nalang
    pero kung ako maglalagay na ako ng ph 16 or P16 surplus engine vtec

    Stock engine of EG ESi is PH16 non-VTEC. Equivalent to a D16 elsewhere.

    Stock engine of EK VTi is PH16A1 SOHC VTEC. Also a D16.

    The only Civic to get a D15 is the EK LXi, with a non-VTEC locally called a PH15.
