how about Montero GTV 4d56 turbocharged engine, have anyone tried adding 2T in the fuel? i only used v-power and petron TD in my 3 mos old unit...
Actually is recommended. It's a lubricant, it's a cleaner and it lowers emissions so why would you not use it.

Your Montero is still a old school diesel it does not meat the 29000psi threshold for the cutoff for using 2T oil. I always go on facts not opinion.

http://www.diesel-art.com/manuales/M..._triton6Ad.PDF You make 180mpa which is around 26000psi.

Only a few high end cars have pressure high enough and that were designed for EURO 4 fuel will not need it. The newer KIA common rail diesels are about the only exception to the rule. They are just over 29000psi to squeeze power from a smaller displacement engine.

Put it in, run it and see if you can fell a difference. But it's not in anyway going to hurt your engine.

And yes you can use it in the rangers engine and the Everest common rail engines. They only make 23000psi.

thanks dvldoc, yeah i will try it with my montero...sometimes i noticed thick smoke coming out of my exhaust pipe during early morning start. 2T might get rid of it...

i am also from northern luzon and owned some agricultural equipment. i think i will try it with my 4-cyls kubota tractors...

Well it will help with maintenance cost due to keeping your engine running cleaner, which keeps your oil cleaner.

Same ratio as everyone else. 200:1 ratio.

Correct me if my interpretation is not right coz i use 200ml 2T for 40 liters of diesel fuel.

    so, 1 liter 2T: 200 liter diesel or 0.5 liter 2T : 100 liter diesel
    or 0.25liter 2T : 50 liter diesel, thus 0.2 liter 2T : 40 liter diesel
    or 200mL 2T : 40 liter diesel.

    if you use 0.8ml 2T: 1 liter diesel or 0.0008 liter 2T : 1 liter diesel or
    0.08 liter 2T : 100 liter diesel or 0.16 liter 2T : 200 liter diesel
    thus 1 liter 2T : 1250 liter diesel.

Yes, It actually does not really matter what you use as long as it's not synthetic, I posted why a while back. Mainly because of the EGR system and crank case vent system your already ingesting oil in the combustion chamber.

any feedback on shell 2t jaso fb?

    @dvldoc
will there be any problem (4d56 engine) if i put more 2T than the recommended 200:1 ratio? say 200:1.5
or is it better to have under ratio than over?
