I do believe 2t helps improve FC. I tried not using it and it feels like the car is sluggish and FC is not that good. I guess the engine is expecting a good fuel already. Even just an FB rated 2t.

Hindi ako makakabigay ng tamang payo sayo dahil wala akong formal advise galing sa FIE manufacturers. Chaka wala din akong experience dito.

Ngunit, sa usapan namin ng mga diesel technicians, delikado mag halo ng oil sa diesel dahil lalapot ang viscosity ng fuel. Baka masira ang common rail nozzles dahil napaka liit ng spray holes nito compared to the older designed nozzles.


Guys, your comments pls on this. 2T seems not good for CRDI's after all.

pero sa low pressure crdis pwede as per dvldoc.. backread ka dito sa thread. around 2007 model crdi ang boundary. walang problem kung conventional diesels except for some initial dirt accumulation sa filter which is manageable.

Is it ok to add shell 2t oil sa 2009 Montero Di-d and 2005 Tucson Crdi? I will follow naman yung 1:200 ratio.
Medyo hesitant lang sirs since may mga nagka problem.

Puede po ba malaman yung sasakyan na ginagamitan nyo ng 2t, kasi gusto ko lang po makasiguro na compatible ang 2t sa navara engine 2009 pataas. Nabasa ko po kasi sa ibang forum, patrol4x4.com po yata yun na hindi daw po puede 2t oil sa diesel kung merong DPF (diesel particulate filter) yung sasakyan. Medyo nalilito at naguguluhan lang po. TIA po.

Wala po yung YD25DDTi ng Nissan sa FAQ’s for using 2T Oil. Thanks po and very informative po yung summed up FAQ nyo.
