i noticed that shell 2t sx2 decarbonizer is fb rated? ok lang ba yon? nailagay ko sa tank, 250ml all in all, for 50 liters, naguguluhan lang ako kasi fb rating yon, ok lang ba yon kahit fb rating?

It should be ok. Mas maganda lang daw effect ng FC (havent tried since FB lang readily available sa amin).

Started using 2t jaso fb on my foton pick up and tank is almost finished. First observation was reduced smoke emission. No major improvements yet on my engine sound and vibration. maybe on my next fill up.
Hoping for more improvements to come

Yes that is perfectly fine to use. I did not know you could get 2T in 4L containers, what's the price and the place.

Clarification, I just bought a 1L bottle of Castrol Activ 2T. If they had it in 4L bottles, I'd probably get that one instead.

I bought this from Sea Oil today at Php30.00/200ml. But it doesn't have any JASO markings or anything specific on the container. Even the website contains only this information:

SEAOIL 2T Grand Prix is specifically developed for two-stroke gasoline engines mainly used in motorcycles and scooters. It suits many types of equipment used for mechanized farming, small and medium-sized motors, such as motor mower, motor cultivator, power chainsaw and other portable equipment.
    Typical Physical Properties Unit SAE30
    Density * 15.6 C kg/L 0.887
    Viscosity * 40 C cSt 95.00
    Viscosity * 100 C cSt 10.75
    Viscosity Index --- 96.00
    Flash Point, COC C 210.00
    Pour Point C -21.00

After further research it really does not make much difference on what JASO rating you use on non-synthetic oils. Here's why, the FC is low ash oil meaning it has a lower Zinc content (zinc when burt makes ash) which can cause deposits in 2 stroke engines. Here's why it's not applical in the application were are using it for one is the compression ratio and combustion temps in a diesel engine and volume of air flow through the engine will push most the unburnt ash out through the exhaust and what is left out your exhaust and the oil will collect the rest.

Here's the other kicker, Diesel oil already has a very high zinc content and is getting burnt in your combustion chamber thanks to that handy EGR and the breather hose that recirullates air back into your intake, If you don't have a oil catch can your already getting oil vapor back into the combustion chambers. So there is almost zero difference if your using 2T that is not FC because if you have a functional EGR system on your diesel or have not added a oil catch can, your still burning zinc and making ash. No harm no foul.

Lastly the sheer act of burning diesel makes ash and soot, so it's a moot point, suprised my little brain did not wrap around this earlier

If your running Synthetic oil then your still burning those same particles via the same method, But it would make no sence to use synthetic. Use the Cheapest 2T you can find because the results will be about the same.

so regardless kung anu 2T binili mo, results will be the same.. scents nalang ba? kasi nakikita ko ibang 2t scented daw ayon sa label..

btw.. on 2T na din ako sa carens.. diesel max+2T on 1L-5ml ratio muna, dati kasi shell fuel save kaya siguro di maganda manakbo.. mas mura pa din than using petron's turbo diesel.. tsaka medyo nag-smooth out na ang takbo after around 500kms of use, lesser soot pa sa tail pipe end..

I'm using PTT Hi Speed (JASO FC and TISI 1040-2541) on my XTO's 4JA-1.
    I bought their 500ml for P70+.
