old school diesel where not designed for this kind of fuel, thus elastomer seals will deteriorate over time and will cause leak. I think it already mentioned on this thread (not me)

the additives/chemicals they use and formulate biodiesel or FAME(Fatty acid methyl esters) is what the FIE manufacturers wants to know but unfortunately fuel industry will not divulge everything.

lubricity is not the main concern over fouling using biofuel, its what the other stuff like water, soaps, sodium, etc.

Sorry im not technically declined to discuss this things.

only want to share this, while researching for pre-filter to an innova diesel engine, if its beneficial or not; im encountered those research papers.

Maybe google will help you. search "denso study biodiesel injectors"

Im just want to point out be very choosy in fuel stations.

To clarify, using properly made biodiesel will only cause problems on diesel engined cars manufactured before 1993. Other than that, there should be no problem. In my post earlier, I was just stating that adding biodiesel increases the lubricity our diesel fuel. Therefore, increasing the blend from B2 to B10 would increase the lubricity. Anyway, here are some interesting links about the pros and cons of biodiesel.

    No harm in trying.

At 20-30 pesos per bottle, its one of the cheapest mod around.

Put all the contents of 400mL bottle in your tank then see for yourself.
