Kung ako ikaw, I won't risk it. This thread recommends use of 2t for old school diesel engines and 2007 and older crdi engine. Some owners with newer vehicles have risked doing so with apparent good results. You may try at your own risk. Basahin mo page 60.

July 17th, 2013 12:19 AM #1065IMO it is safe to use 2t just follow the recommended ratio.
Your engine is basically 4d56 with a 2nd generation common rail pump. What is discouraged or not recommended is the use of 2t in engines that has 3rd gen common rail because of its very high pressure. But then again, some members have used 2t even if their vehicles has a 3rd gen common rail engines. It is up to you if you want to try it. But if you have doubts you can start by having a ratio of 400:1. The only problem is you might not feel the effects...

Thanks for this very informative reply. Anyway, if 2nd gen CRDi are safe for 2T additive, may I know from experts here how much is the rail pressure of this powerplant?
Another quick question, If everything falls to a safe reason of using 2T on my engine, is it advisable to use on brand new engine like mine which only has 1200km on odometer?
Your opinions will be highly appreciated mga experts..Thanks a lot

Thanks for this information.
So, at 1350bar rail pressure, I guess it is safe for my engine to use 2T blend on diesel at 200:1 ratio. Another question is if it would be okay to use it on brand new engine like mine at 1200km? I am also currently using euro 2 diesel from petron which I believe has .05% sulfur content. As what I read from different forums, we need this (2T) lubrication on the fuel system if the sulfur content of diesel is very low.
Is .05% considered low sulfur content on diesel?
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
