    Ask sana mga bos ng updated price ng palit ng 4d56T Timing Belt ng Spacegear local 2003, may ugong na tunog kasi posible daw sa tensioner nanggaling.
    Magkano kaya abutin,
    Timing Belt
    Tensioner
    Labor
    Misc parts

    San ang recommended shop to do this around Banawe Area or Manila Area...

    Salamat.

    Need Help just inherited my dad's '98 Fieldmaster and found out that he has not changed the timing belt yet * 100,000++ on the odometer. What parts should I be replacing aside from the belt itself and the water pump (I believe) and how much will everything cost at this time? TIA

    Change all MAW (might as well) parts to include crank oil seal, camshaft oil seal, all idler pulley, all tensioner pulley and of course the timing belt. All of these parts were installed on the same hour on the same day which means they all have the same mileage and the same number of hours of run time.

    Check/replace the following:

    Fan belts
    Idler bearings
    Coolant hoses
    Vacuum hoses

Tapos pinilit pang paandarin.ouch!

    Ayun nabasag ang apat na rocker arm at 2 bearing cap ng camshaft.....

    Yung less than P3k na gastos lang sana sa timing belt replacemeng naging P8k...

    dalawa kasi ang engine model ng 4D56. pre-1994 at post 1994 models...nagkaiba sila sa cross section ng t-belt at haba ng balancer belt (old has 83 teeth sa balancer while the newer have 99 teeth)...tapos "rectangular" teeth ng old models while "round" naman yung profile ng t-belt ng new models

    price of the old model t-belt (bando):
    cam = P750
    balancer = P450

    kung plus labor around P3k....hindi pa kasali ang oil seals, tensioner bearings, etc.

    bale nagastos kasi netong huli aside from the t-belt ay ang sumusunod:
    intake rocker arms (4 pcs) = P 1,100
    Camshaft bearing caps/holders = P 1,980
    gaskets, sealants, oil seals (mura lang naman mga ito), oil, hoses, clamps na mamahalin, gasoline, etc......

    hindi ko na pinalitan ang tensioner bearings. grinasahan ko na lang uli mga ito. selyado yung bearings pero actually nasisikwat yung cover nya. be careful nga lang para hindi masira yung cover.

    diko na alam kung ilan kilometers na pero last march 2014 ang huli kong palit bago ko binenta kay pinsan....tingin ko e less than 30k km pa lang.

    pinambuhat ng mga construction materials para sa bahay nya, pandeliver ng baboy at baka, kung saan saan birhaws napunta (hehehe),....utility work.

    diko na tinanggal cylinder head para inspect ko sana valves...napagana ko naman na ulit....so far wala naman abnormal noise at white smoke. natsambahan. nakakatamad ding gumalaw kasi ngayon dahil sa init.

    Warning: The L300 manual says that you'll have to change the belt at 100,000 km, pero when we had it checked at santiago, isabela, luray-luray na at 80,000km. Sabi ng mekaniko, isali mo ang pagpapaandar * idle!?

    Ganun naman talaga going rate kung original parts ilalagay mo.

    You can save a little and gamble by putting replacement parts though.
