My Honda ESI wont start unless CEL turns off, yes for honda ESI its normal. But my problem is it takes time during rainy season pag malamig makina specially in morning. would take 5-10minutes before it turns off. I went to a service center somewhere in banawe earlier to have my Computer Box scanned for P1200, But I didn't paid it though dahil wala naman na detect na problema, they checked next is the main relay sabi nung mekaniko ok pa naman daw but still when my car gets cold again it will take time nanaman. I ended up leaving the place coz they might just ask a lot from me hindi naman daw nila kaya gawin yung kotse, they need to check eveything and it will take time. so habang wala pa kong binabayaran umalis na ko haha.

help sa mga naka experience the same problem. What could be the culprit? and please any recommended electricians or mechanics? I'm just student so i really watch my budget buti naka free check ako dun sa pinuntahan ko kanina

    thanks tsikot.

nope. pag on goin na makina wala ng CEL, just by turning it on it takes a lot of time before mawala yung CEL. I had them opened & checked my ECU. wala naman daw sunog, and i asked them if how will they figured out if my ECU is damaged. They said that they dont know how to check it. So saan ko ba dadalin na kaya tumingin at mag repair ng ECU? and do I have to consider other possible parts as well before dealing in my ECU?

    help please.

hehe yes sir naka mura nga.. but still andun pa din yung problem its sunday today so walang mekaniko tomorrow ulit. medyo nakaka stress na yung problema. Yes may redondo siya pag CEL pero di talaga mag sstart i called honda. and they said this specific model 93-95 civic wouldn't start until CEL turns off so its pretty normal like 8-10seconds before it turns off. pero lately super tagal nya mawala. yun ang problema ko.

Sir! I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM as yours!! Mine naman, pag nauulanan!! usually it takes 3 - 5 seconds during hot days, but pag naulanan, yun na.. it takes 5 - 10 mins! I already went to speedyfix and fixstop but they couldn't diagnose it because the problem won't show up anymore..

Nakakairita talaga to.. my car is 95 Civic ESi din..
