Happy to use delo gold ultra for my dad's vios and my ek (newly overhauled, pati oil pan baba at linis). Hehehe. Pagtapos ng warranty ng vios ko, delo gold iltra na din gagamitin ko, for now stick to toyota FS.

    API CG-4 (Current) - Introduced in 1995
    API CF-4 (Current) - Introduced in 1990

    API Rating (Gas)

API SN (Current) - Introduced in Nov 2010
API SM (Current) - Introduced in Nov 2004
API SL (Still current but nearly obsolete) - Introduced in 1998
API SJ (Still current but nearly obsolete) - Introduced in 1996
I was able to check my vioski manual, and according to the manual i can use, API grade SL or SM. So i can use delo gold 400 pala kay vios ko.

AFAIK, based on API rating alone, pwede. pero i think Delo 400 has >1200 ppm of zinc zddp. makakasira na yan ng catalytic converter. DGU has less than 1200 ppm so safe sa catcon

    salamat ulit, Sir Sirkosero.

OT lang - just found out toyota FS oil is about 2,1xx based on price per gallon only. though their price is not too far compared to other brand oil. I understand some of you guys hesitate to buy it coz the price is too expensive before(if not mistaken). pricing is just FYI only.

    AFAIK, ang maganda is baldwin.

wag lang vic, pero naka vic/purolator ako for the longest time, until now walang mabilhan ng bosch dito sa amin eh (well out of stock daw).

bili ko sa delo gold ultra is 230petot per liter, or roughly a little bit more than 1k kung 4 liter bottle kukunin mo.

Filter sizes do not change much.

Hehe

i was able to check the API requirement of my ek96 sa manual, nakalagay eh SG or SH which is both phased out na.

kaya stick with DGU na ako.

at between havoline and DGU, which is better for my:

    1. ek96
    2. 2010 vios
    3. 2013 vios

basta maganda paper specs, okay na for me.

^^^ thank you, Sir. although maganda pa naman compression test ko, at kakatop overhaul ko lang, i am thinking to use honda LEV or an equivalent of 0w-30 na oil, or 0w-40 na FS. baka mas maging fuel efficient.

    your thoughts?
